For: Lancer Tactical Cross Draw Vest (OD)Product Information:
This is a very comfortable vest and is easily adjustable on the sides via straps (three per side). I'm a pretty large guy (need to lose some weight) and am able to wear this vest without any trouble. The belt that comes with it, however, doesn't fit me. Due to being overweight this vest does not reach quite all the way down to my waist, otherwise I would be able to wear the belt. The shoulders are slightly adjustable via fixed velcro straps but they were already set to the max size when I received the vest. I have tried adjusting the size on the belt to as wide as I could make it and just barely am not able to use it (probably 44-46") as it doesn't fit around my stomach. The sizing issue, which will be resolved once I lose some weight, is my only complaint about this vest.
There are two mistakes made on the description of this vest. First, the set of three pistol mag pouches on the left breast is not fixed. These are attached to the vest via velcro and can be removed if not needed/desired. They are, however, all three part of a single piece so either they all stay or they all go. Second, there are also two horizontal pistol mag pouches on the belt on the right & left side, not one as stated in the description. The pistol holster is also attached via velcro and is easily removable and adjustable for angle and also has another magazine pouch permanently attached to it. This mag pouch is a little difficult to access though due to the straps that are used to attach the holster to the vest. All pistol mag pouches hold a single magazine.
There are 4 rifle mag pouches permanently attached to the vest. One on the left side just to the left of the pistol holster and the other three in a row on the right side. My M4 high cap mags fit snugly in these pouches, 1 mag per pouch.
The utility pouch on the right breast and the utility pouch on the left shoulder are permanently attached.
The back of the vest has MOLLE on the lower half only. I had previously bought a Condor MOLLE hydration pouch from another website (model HCB-002) and had some trouble attaching it to the back. The bottom half of the pouch fit perfectly on the MOLLE setup, but I had no place to attach the top half of the hydration pouch. I ended up using the velcro name patch on the back to hold the top half of the hydration pouch in place since I didn't want to use the included harness for the hydration pouch. There is probably a better way to solve this, but it works for me. If you buy this vest then it would probably be best to buy a smaller hydration pouch such as the Source Kangaroo.
Very well made vest
Lots of Storage
Very comfortable and natural side draw holster
MOLLE on the back provides additional options
Much cheaper than buying a full MOLLE vest setup with the same amount of storage
Sizing was a bit of a problem for me, but I am about 100lbs overweight. Should comfortably fit most people.
