For: Condor/OE TECH Soft Shell Jacket (FG/L)Product Information:
This Soft Shell is a very efficient product. I have used this jacket for two weeks with absolutely no functionality flaws. The hood rolls up into a pocket in the collar which doubles as a neck pad. There are elastic wrist cuffs which can be adjusted to the individual's needs. I was able to hold my cell phone, wallet, two pens, glasses, six patches, and two pistol magazines all at once without sacrificing maneuverability. As the video states this jacket also has little, rubber covered, holes in almost every pocket for the addition of ipod earphones that can be wired through the interior of the jacket. Also in addition to it's tactical uses this jacket is somewhat sturdy enough for every day wear and tear. I myself own a TAD Gear Stealth jacket and the OE Tech soft shell jacket is the closest thing to it for the price. As an added perk the velcro panels on the arm are large enough for flag patches or, in my case last weekend, a perfect spot for medic red cross patches! In my opinion every airsoft player, novice or veteran, should pick this up.
As a note: When I inspected the jacket I noticed an area, in the back where the collar meets the body, in which a seem tracked off about 1/4" from the rest of the seam. This was most defiantly a one-in-one thousand factory error but it was an error after all!
Durability- I have used it as my regular jacket for two weeks.
Functionality- This is perfect for airsoft due to it's many pockets. I held 5 MK5K magazines throughout the various pockets.
Climate control- It keeps you war in the cold and cool in the heat thanks to it's three ventilation points: one on the lower back and one on each armpit.
Tactility- Can easily be worn under a plate carrier, chest rig, or vest.
Weight and fit- I my self and in between L and X-L but I opted for the L and it fits well also it is quite light for the strength of the material and at times you may not even realize you are wearing it.
Price- I am rating this product so high primarily due to the price.
The only possible con would be the seam error but like i said it is most likely one-in-one thousand.
For $80 dollars this is your best alternative to a $260 dollar TAD Gear jacket!
