Very nice helmet for the job. Does what I wanted it to do. However, the rails that came with the helmet that are suppose to attach to the arch rails are just loose and won't stay on. They aren't a big deal since I don't use them, but could be trouble for others. The padding inside is adjustable and so is the tightness by adjusting this wheel at the back of the helmet. Over all I do enjoy this helmet very much.

Does the job
Light (could be pro or con)

Rails that come with the helmet a bit loose.

Solid helmet. It is made of nice hard polymer and has plenty of velcro for morale patches. The NVG mount is nice and will work well with a go pro. The knob in the back is good for adjusting the size so the helmet wont bounce around. My only gripe is that my head is big and it is difficult to wear for an extended period of time.

NVG mount

Tight fit
Chin strap gives me trouble sometimes

These helmets are absolutely fantastic. It is light, fits snuggly, and it once you've secured it, it won't move at all unless you're shaking your head like you're at a metal concert.

Everything you see in the photo is exactly what you'll get. NVG mount, bungee cords, rails, Velcro. You get it all!

-light weight
-removable padding
-straps are secured safely
-little or no wobble once secured
-allows your head to breath
-Velcro isn't attached to the helmet when received allowing you to place as desired

-Velcro is presculpted so not much else that you can place them differently than the pictures.
-for a proper fit for big heads, padding must be removed and even then it may not sit close enough to your ears.
-not great for goggles. For best eye protection, use safety glasses from a local Home Depot. Minimum of $6 for a nice pair!

Product Information:
I Received this helmet as a gift and boy is it sweet! When I first took it out of the box, I was pleased to see that the helmet is not made out of cheap plastic. Very durable and good looking. I really like the addition of the side rails and front mount for a camera. There is also lots of padding so the helmet is very confortable and will not hurt your head during extended use. One downside to this helmet is that it does not cover the part of the head above your ear/ your temple very well. This helmet is meant to be a replica of the Ops-Core FAST helmets, which do not provide protection from projectiles and ballistics as much as the MICH, so this is how they are made to look in the military. On the contrary, this does give you a more comfortable fit for headsets compared to the MICH because your ear is not completely covered. My last MINOR complaint is since the helmet extends beyond your forehead (as seen in the picture), it is a tad bit difficult putting on goggles. I have the Arena FlakJak Version 2 Goggles, which extend a little over the forehead. I am still able fit my goggles on without any trouble, so like I said, this is a minor flaw. Overall this is a great helmet, and I highly recommend it because of its durability, authenticity, and comfort.

- comfortable
- looks great
- durable
- lots of velcro
- rails for video camera, lasers, flashlights, and such
- fits snugly over the head
- doesn't flop around when running
- adjustable straps for different head sizes

there really aren't any, but since I have to...

- rides low and may be a bit difficult to wear with goggles (how real helmet is made)
