This is a great holster. I bought this because I'm left-handed, and it works great. When it arrived, the MOLLE straps and the main thumb latch were set up for a right-handed user, but they were relatively easy to switch around. There were no instructions detailing how to do this, but it's pretty obvious how to do so when you look at it. I purchased this holster to hold my KJW 1911 Hi-Capa Dual power, and I was surprised by how small the included magazine pouch was. It does not fit any hi-capa mags (although the gun itself fits beautifully in the holster), so I simply removed it from the holster. Thankfully, it is a MOLLE pouch, and I simply slapped it onto my chest rig to hold a speedloader. It will hold a pistol-mag sized speedloader or any normal single-stack 1911 magazines, but keep in mind that it is a tiny pouch. Otherwise, this is a great holster. Even after breaking it in, the material stays solid and holds the gun securely. The snap-secured thumb break solidly holds the gun in place in the holster, and the elastic strap works equally well to that end. Also worth mentioning is that this holster does not cause magazines to drop from the gun the same way many others do. Many models of holster will often push against the magazine release or push whatever gear it is attached to against the magazine release and cause the magazine to fall out of the gun during a match. This is less of a problem for southpaws (as the mag release faces away from my body and the rest of my kit while the gun is holstered), but the holster stays out of the way of the mag release. I even tested it mounted on my side for a right-handed draw, and I have not lost a single magazine while using this holster.

All in all, this is a great holster, and I would highly recommend it to anybody - lefty or righty - looking to hold any model of 1911.

Pros:
Pros:

-included magazine pouch fits well on the holster or on other MOLLE gear
-solidly and snugly holds the weapon, even without the thumb break or elastic strap around it
-choice of using the elastic strap or thumb break to secure your sidearm
-works well both right- and left-handed.
-does not push on the magazine catch and cause loss of mags, as many other holsters do.

Cons:
Cons:

-magazine pouch is tiny, does not fit any double-stack or hi-capa mags.
-slightly difficult to swap the MOLLE straps and whatnot to the other side if you want to use this holster as a lefty, but still a pretty simple process.

Product Information:
So I have the OE Tech holster for 1911 but this is literally the exact same thing. The holster is great. Although it says that it is designed for the 1911, you can use a variety of different handguns with this holster. I have fit comfortably a KWA ATP, A Sig Sauer P226, and a KJW M9. This pouch will not accept most large accessories mounted on to the pistol you are using, so you may need to strip it clean in order to remain effective.

Pros:
•Pretty much universal
•Bungee strap For better retention
•MOLLE webbing all over this holster
•Relatively small footprint on your rig
•Comes with pistol mag pouch

Cons:
•Cannot accommodate most attachments
•Bungee strap is not the best method for getting to your pistol quickly

This really is a great holster. It allows for a very quick removal and becomes a perfect fit for your M1911. A STRICT WARNING: Be ready to fight with the thing when you first get it. When I got it home I thought the guy at the store gave me the wrong size, it simply didn't fit, or at least that's what I thought. I own a SOCOM Gear M1911 MEU Special Force Edition. I expected the thing to just slide right in, but that is not how it works. You really have to force it in there. Here's how I did it: I did my best to "scrunch" up the holster to make it look more boxy than flat. Then I shoved the gun in and "worked" it in. Think of it like if you were putting on a really tight pair of pants. Then when you can see the tip of the barrel sticking out of the bottom, do you best to get the security strap in the right place and button it. Now leave it in there for a few days. Do this all before you secure it to any MOLLE system.

It's a pain to get it in there but its really worth it (thats what she said!). It really does mold to your gun and create a custom holster just for your side arm.

One more thing that I noticed was that the clip pouch wobbles a bit if you leave it attached. I just took it off of the holster and strapped it right next to it on my vest. If you have the room, I suggest you do the same.

And trust me, it sounds like a lot of work, but it's well worth it.

Pros:
Great custom fit
Secure

Cons:
Hard to get the pistol in the first time

Good Holster. Attaches to molle vests nicely. I'm very happy with it, and the pistol mag pouch is a nice add on. you can take it off the holster and put it any where on a molle vest. Its kinda stiff when you first get it, so leave your 1911 in there for a few days and it will mold to the proper size.

Pros:
-Cheap
-Made for 1911
-Comes with pistol mag pouch
-Tough
-Easy to draw gun once you wear it in

Cons:
-Actually a CONDOR 1911 holster, not an OE Tech ( im pretty sure its the same company, but i wish they had labeled it as condor)
-Kinda stiff at first, but just let it wear in and you are fine.
-A few lose treads, nothing major.
