This is essentially an airsoft version of the FAL OSW or an SA58 Tactical, if that's what you're looking for. I have to say, this is a great gun. I am very glad I bought it. It is very sturdy, being that this thing is all metal except for the pistol grip and the muzzle break. But even then the plastic is tough. NOTHING about the SOF1 feels cheap. I was actually very surprised on how heavy it is. With battery, BBs, and optics, this thing is pushing 10-12lbs. About what I would expect the real steel version to weigh. I had a chance to take it out on a skirmish, and it performed flawlessly.
It came with 2 high-cap metal magazines, a PEQ box, and an 8.4v NiMH battery. The only complaint I have with it is that the PEQ box is total garbage. This PEQ is as cheap as they come. I feel like if I drop it off my bed, it would break. I had to modify it in order to fit a 9.6v nunchuck in it. I highly suggest getting a better quality PEQ box for it.
In conclusion, the positives out weight the negatives on this gun. You get a lot for the price, including quality. If you are looking to stand out and you don't want an M4 or AK variant, I highly recommend this gun.
