First off, this is spot on in terms of a replica serving it's role... right out of the box. I am certainly happy with the stock specifications and performance. Tried .20 to .26 gram BBs, it handles the .23s the best. The soundly strong bi-pod having no issues supporting this beast when fully laden. The electric winding mechanism using the only battery doesn't seem to have a contrasting strain in relation to using just the battery with the gearbox. The weight could be a problem, but it isn't so bad when taking a knee shouldering this. The box magazine's cardboard should be replaced with something more water resistant like composite(keeping the weight down, keeping rigidity). The location of the trigger switch is not agreeable with me, having to fix a connection after installing the stock. The quick release on the barrel slipped on me once nearly resulting separation between the barrel and aft end. However, Echo 1's replica is a pleasure to own and use!!
Turning heads calling attention, this MG is almost ready to serve it's role. It just needs BBs, targets far off of the business end and you on the trigger!!!
P.S. - The Axeman is right, leave the bi-pod extended on this one!
