For: SRC SR36C AEG Airsoft Gun (Battery & Charger Package)Product Information:
This is one sexy gun. The fps and accuracy aren't the best for field, although I use this for cqb/backyard fights and on my side as I snipe in the field/woods so it's alright. The fps is just right for cqb and because it's that low, the battery carries a higher rate of fire and lasts longer.
The wiring on this gun is absolutely genius. Instead of hiding the electronics in the back, they're right above where the battery sits, fuse and all. A blown fuse or broken wire would take seconds to replace, and after my friends having to take their guns in for expensive repairs, i can smile at how easy mine would be to fix. The hand-guard is very easy (but not too easy) to take off, you just push out a pin and pull it off, in which is the battery and electronics. This is a stark contrast to my last gun, where there were three separate screws you had to remove and then awkwardly pry the thing off. I like to take it on and off just because it's so easy.
The body is made of abs plastic with a matte black finish. It's not at all scratch proof like a metal gun, but it's light and definitely won't fall apart or break. The front rails are metal, very sharp in fact, although the top rails are the same plastic as the body. Other metal parts include all the body pins, the front and rear sights, hop up, and the mag and stock releases.
With the stock folded, it's slightly wobbly on the axis of the hinge but folded up it's solid as the rest of the body. The only truly wobbly part is the magazine, which could likely be solved by buying a different brand mag (like G&G). Heck, you could easily attach it to the one it comes with because of the genius mag stacking that all G36 mags can do.
I bought this gun while it's on sale for $157 which is really a steal, considering it's quality. It's a sport-line, ABS gun with the highest quality built in to an AEG I've ever seen. My last gun was a Kart M14 EBR which was full metal, 15 pounds, and it fell apart within a month. Nowhere did it say sport-line or that it was made of ABS, it just sucked. This gun is the opposite.
Outstanding build quality, sturdiness, and wiring
Ambidextrous (I'm a righty, but since I snipe, I'm used to lefty-side selection and charging handle)
Comes with a fantastic little 8.4v 1200mah mini battery
Folding stock (I can side step through a doorway with this thing!)
All the pins and important, high precision parts are metal
Airsoft GI did an fps and visual inspection and charged the battery before they shipped
ABS, though light, strong, and impact resistant, scratches pretty easily and is overall kinda meh...
Mag is okay, wobbles ever so slightly but it never misfeeds
Fire selector could be a little more precise, though I just go all the way down to auto
