The rifle is very solid feeling, it's pretty hefty (weight is dead on to the real steel). There are a few problems with it out of the box though. The trigger has a double action to it (it's not a crisp clean trigger pull, but it's not too big of a deal). After a few shots, the bbs (.28s) start taking a HARD wide right. They go about 70 feet, and then veer off to who knows where. Also, the hop up arm that adjusts the hop up isn't the best design. When you hop UP, after a few shots the arm will start to hop down, meaning it will take the hop off. You have to put some kind of spacer in between the space so it stays put.
The gun needs barrel vibration reducers (pad the inner barrel so it makes contact with the inside of the outer barrel) This patch helps with accuracy.Didn't get the scope package but I bought the gun off of here.
It's FULLY APS2 part compatible (apart from the inner barrel, it's a APS2 barrel, but its not the same length. The m24 is a 486mm, while most APS2 barrels are 499mm.
With a TBB, upgraded spring and cylinder/cylinder head, you could have yourself a rifle to be feared on the field.
Overall, if you want an M24, GET THIS. The upgrades are ALL APS2 so you won't have any trouble with it.
-My barrel isn't threaded (Javelin apparently decided the newer models don't need threads)
-Hop up arm needs remedy
-Inner barrel is stupidly too short for after market upgrade
