I bought this gun during the blowout clearance sale. Overall, I would recommend this gun to anyone who wants an AK-style gun that will stand out.
Externally, the gun is very well built. Nothing jiggles or rattles except for the cleaning rod, but it is meant to be a bit loose anyways. The wire stock is very strong and will survive most normal abuse. Mag compatibility seems to be just like other AK's - my CYMA AK47-style mag, and G&P AK74-style fit and feet perfectly fine. The flash hider is pretty big and ugly and there is a pin that locks it in place. Eventually I did get around it. You have to disassemble the front end of the gun to install the foregrip, but once you do it stays in place and is surprisingly comfortable in terms of ergonomics. You can grip it Magpul style, Tommy-gun style, or whatever you like and it wont hurt your hands.
Internally, the gun is just like other JG internals - nothing spectacular but it will take a hell of a beating before you need to replace any of the parts. Trigger response and ROF with the 9.6V stick NiMH it comes with is okay. You can sense a slight delay for Semi-auto, but it won't hurt you during a skirmish. You can upgrade to a 7.4V LiPo with Deans if you're really keen on instant trigger reaction, but the battery it comes with will do its job just fine. I haven't measured ROF, but by hearing it I know it is not slow.
One note about the hopup is that the C-clip that clamps the barrel to the hopup may be proprietary. Most AK-style hop-up C-clips have squared edges, but the hopup in this model is rounded so that it can slide into the outer barrel. If you do plan to upgrade the hopup, make sure that it does not have any squared edges (avoid the Pro-Win AK-style hop up) and you may have to dremel the C-clip to make it fit. Carbine-length (363mm) inner barrels fit perfectly for this gun. Accuracy of this gun is very impressive, and will be even better if you upgrade the Hop-up and inner barrel. Stock FPS for my gun was about 360FPS.
Like I said above, this gun is great to own. Looks unique, feels unique, with reliably and accurate performance.
Looks good at certain angles
Proprietary hop-up C-clip
Not particularly rail-friendly. The receiver does not accept the attachable side-rail rail, but you can replace the gas tube with a railed version.
Flash hider is big and ugly.
Cheek weld is difficult with the wire stock, but you can buy after-market parts to help that.
