Product Information:
Very cool rail, almost one of a kind since more people get DD rails. I love the gaping hole design because you can see the barrel better if your running a Noveske Silver barrel (which I plan to do in the future).

However there are some bad points. The quality is a little lacking. For $100 I was hoping the unit to be pristine, but it had some places where it looks like it was dropped and the metal bent. Kinda made my Vert grip hard to slide onto the bottom because the front was bent.

Also, you need special tools to properly install this. You NEED snap ring pliers. You may also want a barrel nut wrench. I used a screw driver and hammer.

Then, there is rail wobble. I fixed this by putting electrical tape under the rail by the QD swivel points. Since the unit comes apart into 5 different parts. Each rail is independent and the back of the rail screws on first. Which brings me to another point, there are no instructions....

Finally, I had some trouble mounting the unit to my gun because the barrel was too wide where the gas block goes. This unit is a bit pickier than other rails because the gas block is built in and has to slide on.

All in all, I still think this is the best looking rail, and a little bit of sanding and hammering is worth it for the look and low profile ergonomics. Just know you will need to spend an extra $15 if you don't own snap ring pliers.
