Reviewing a phone case on an airsoft site? Meh, still a review. My old 3GS case has been my favorite since I had my original iPhone, which I used for that and my current 3GS. It has done its deed and began to rip in the corners. That led me to buy this, the MagPul Field Case. Right when I got this case, I noticed one thing. It isn't a soft silicone style case and it isn't a hard plastic type of case either. It's almost a soft plastic type texture, being able to bend but also rigid. The phone snaps nicely into place and fits perfectly. It feel very rigid and strong, not flimsy like my old case where the phone would fall out if you held it wrong. It has ridges along the case so there is good grip with the case. The buttons are a little hard to push, but I guess I could get used to it after a while. Overall, this is a great case and I would recommend it to anyone that needs a good, sturdy, strong case to use.
Pros:
Sturdy, somewhat soft and flexible but it is really firm
The iPhone snaps nicely into place
There isn't any wiggle room, feeling very tight and nice
Ridges give a good grip on the phone
Made from the same polymer used on the MagPul Mag Assists
Very light, lighter than the old silicone case I had
Nice matte finish
