The NC Star Tactical Rail System for M16 is a sturdy 2 Piece RIS Handguard that clamps firmly onto real gun style delta rings. This piece is not for TM/ICS/SRC/ECHO 1 style M4s; if you wish to use this RIS on any of the aforementioned guns you will need to purchase a separate delta ring.

Product Information:
I've owned this RIS hand guard for about a year now and I'm still pretty satisfied with it. There's little evidence of wear despite heavy use and all the markings are still the same as they were when I received it. The main downside is that when I installed it I slashed my hand open on the rails -which resulted in the 'blood camo' pattern on it till at some point rain washed it off (I was a bit sad when that happened...) - and also at some point I slashed open my other hand when I fell hard while holding my rifle. So... I'd recommend buying some rail covers or just wearing gloves. Additionally, I'd be cautious about buying this if you have a triangle-type end cap (the piece right before your front sight) because mine wasn't a perfect fit and it made the RIS a tiny bit crooked...
Pros:
Incredibly sturdy
great finish/markings
rails can be removed
I've never had problems with installing things onto it (i.e. lights, lasers, blah blah...)
Decently priced
sharp... if someone isn't calling their hits......
Cons:
Sharp, but that's a general problem with RIS

Will this fit?
Will this fit the Apex Fast Attack RIS M4? I’m assuming I’d have to get rid of the front iron sight on the barrel and obviously the rail system already on it..
