NC Star has done something brilliant with their High Profile See-Through Ring Mounts w/RIS. They have created these scope rings to fit 30mm diameter scopes, but also included precision made spacers so that the can also accommodate 1" scopes. Such a simple idea saves time and money for mounting different scopes with the same rings. Also, these rings have small 20mm rail segments around them for additional aiming aids, as well as holes underneath the rings so the user can switch to iron sights w/o dismounting the scope.
