The airsoft market has seen a large number of releases of the M14 from various manufactures such as Tokyo Marui, G&G, and UTG because of its recent revival as a designated marksmen rifle for the U.S. military. Now the long anticipated CA M14 Match has arrived in the United States. CA is very confident that the new M14 will be a big hit in not just the exterior design but the complete system. The CA M14 features a newly designed gearbox that has many parts compatible with other Japanese AEG aftermarket parts. The semi/full auto fire settings and the large 470rnd
capacity magazine make it ideal as a suppot weapon or sniper rifle with its lengthy inner barrel. In addition the M14 Match replicates the functions of the M14 such as Moveable Cocking Lever, Bolt Cover, safety, and fire
selector. All these features combined make the CA Full Metal M14 Match hard to beat.

I've been in the sport for about 5 years now, and I've never seen an AEG quite like this one..
Its hard to explain.. I bought this about two weeks ago directly through Spartan Imports. The gun feels very strong and well built. The whole thing is made of metal, and the trades are very nicely engraved. The one thing I didn't like is the crappy sherbet ice cream colored stock. I bought a walnut stock for it, very nice. After looking at the gearbox I could tell that this is based off the G&G style.
This means that it can take Version 2 and 3 internals. (gears, piston, ect) But the cylinder head is V7 style.
The bad thing is, is that when I opened it up the motor was rusted near the pinion gear!!
That was shocking. Although it did not hurt anything, it was a small discouragement.
The firing results were outstanding, this gun is worth the money paid. Stock it is incredibly accurate, just think of it with a tight bore! The rate of fire with an 8.4v 1300mah is higher than my Marui M4 with a 9.6v. (I don't understand why) The gun weighs roughly 8 pounds, mine weighs 10 now.. Oh well. The magazine that is included is a really good magazine, feeds all the time.
The gun can shoot accurately out to about 160ft. Which is pretty good, you won't have any problems at Desert Fox with this gun.
The CA/G&G m14 series are very close to the real steel counter-part. These are made in 1/1 scale to the Springfield M1A.
Unlike the Marui and clones that are 7/8ths scale. This also explains the reason behind the Marui magazine incompatibility. The CA magazine is the size of the real one (.308 win.)
All you guys that know Albert know that he hates CA, make sure you shoot him for me.
The upgrades I've put in this gun so far (Just for your reference)
Prometheus Tight bore
KWA Torque up gear set
KWA Piston Set
Systema m120 spring
Systema Hop up bucking
Big out H nub
(For all you people that think you need a scope for an airsoft gun, this rifle is very effective without one)
But, a reflex sight is another story.
The bottom line is, you will be very pleased with this replica/airsoft gun
