Description:
The ACM 6mm M500 Shotgun is a multi-shot gas propelled pump action airsoft shot gun. Each action loads three 6mm BBs into the barrel and when fired all three are propelled out by a gas propellant, preferably green gas. The furniture and pump are made of a durable ABS plastic. The body, barrel, and tubular magazine are constructed of metal. The build quality and attention to detail give the ACM M500 a realistic look and feel. If you're looking for a powerful and realistic shotgun on a budget, the ACM M500 would be something to consider.

This gun is one of the funnest guns on the market. It shoots around 300-320 at room temperatures and has a very nice spread. This is the best airsoft shotgun that I have ever fired, period. If you have 160 bucks get this gun... that is if it is still in stock.
Pros:
Very real feel
Shoots perfectly
Holds over 150 BB's
Full metal
Cons:
Low FPS/range in cold weather
I have played airsoft for 5 years, here is my review:
This is a good bargain as far as airsoft shotguns go. It has an internal reservoir which eliminates the use of shells like other gas shotguns. This is also good because those shells are easy to lose and they break occasionally. That being said, this shotgun shoots good for the first 5-6 shots after a full fill, then you will notice some drop off in pressure... If you like to modify guns I have heard good things about constant air rigs on these, where people hook up a paintball remote, regulator and tank to them to keep pressure up. It does shoot 5 BB's at a time which allows for a good spread and even though its a pump it is easy to get into a fast cycle rate. I bought a real steel pistol grip with collapsable stock and it fit.. Just had to get the right bolt, so that was pretty cool.
The replica feels very solid and you will notice a little noise when moving around due to the pump handle moving... but in a cqb scenario this is a great choice. I used mine a few times in outdoor skirmishing as a backup to my AEG and used it only on occasion. Of course, on the occasions I did use it, I had a lot of fun.
I like the fact that this uses 6mm BB's instead of 8mm, because its cheaper and easier to find BB's for. I would stick to using .20 or .23 BB's in this due to the lack of hop up. Anything heavier and you will see significant decreases in range, which is already lacking... which brings me to my next point..
One BIG problem I see with this shotgun is that it doesnt have any hop up. While in CQB this doesnt matter much, it would be nice to get a little extra range out of it for outdoor skirmishing. My KJW 1911 on green gas shoots farther and more accurately than this shotgun. A lot of people try to make their own hop up units on the stock inner barrel, I have as well... and honestly it doesnt give it much more range. Putting a tightbore barrel in may give it a few more yards, but still it wont compare to an AEG.
Overall I think this is a great airsoft shotgun especially for the price.
Pros:
Intimidating cocking sound that lets people know whats around the corner
Looks cool
Fun to shoot
Rewarding to get kills with
No shells
Holds a lot of BB's
Shoots 5 BB's at a time
Low cost
Uses 6mm BB's which are cheaper and easier to find
Cons:
No hop up / poor range for outdoor use
Air reservoir is kind of small / Only gets about 5-6 GOOD shots off per fill
Excellent buy, for close combat and clearing indoor.
Just the look on people faces when you enter the indoor fields is priceless, even thought because of it's 5 BBs per shot the fps is below 300fps, and for that reason, makes it much lower fps then any other guns in the arena.
Pros:
- Very sturdy
- 5 BBs per shot
- "Looks, Sound & Feel", much like a real one.
- ALLOT OF FUN!
- Very challenging, this is not a gun for everyone, so if you do not have a good level and
do not like to be in the first round of casualties, don't bother.
- Did I mention it is allot of FUN to play with it, and any Cons are not sufficient to me
to make it a bad gun.
Cons:
- Heavy in the beginning of the game, very heavy by the end of it. :)
- Not very reliable, "Jam" often. Even though I clean it after every game, it is the nature of the beast!
- Limited in shots, and the reload takes time to get used to it.
Still a very good shotgun.
