For the price i was expecting a cheap feeling thin plastic helmet but i didnt really care as i was going to put a helmet cover over it anyway. When i got the helmet i was happily surpised to find the helmet feels very solid. The plastic is very thick and the helmet has some texture to it which gives it a more realistic look and feel. There are 7 pads that are attached by hook and loop on the inside of the helmet. The chin strap is somewhat less adjustable than a real one therefore can be a little uncomfortable but all in all this is a great replica and good quality.
Pros:
Sturdy construction. Good paint and texture. 7 removable pads.
Cons:
Chin straps are a little hard to get adjusted right
