[17956 / CA-381F]Description:
The MICH 2002 SF helmet is currently issued to a number of Special Operations groups. The Lancer Tactical MICH 2002 SF helmet is very light weight, and very comfortable to wear due to the included padding inside the helmet. The chin strap is fully adjustable at 4 different locations; therefore it fits almost everyone.
This Lancer Tactical MICH 2002 SF helmet is the ultimate helmet for people who like the hardcore special forces / military contractor look. It comes with 2 rails to accommodate lights, cameras or other accessories. It also comes with a night vision shroud in the front for night vision goggles or other cameras.
This replica of the MICH 2002 by Lancer Tactical WILL NOT stop bullets but will protect against airsoft BBs. For an authentic special forces look that protects your head, look no further than the Lancer Tactical MICH SF 2002.

This helmet is really good for the price. It does not have a rough texture like the other MICH's but it is really good either way. It is made of a good polymer but if you REALLY wanted too, you could probably break it in half. It is not flimsy, but i pressed it in and the sides bent a little so if you pushed really hard you could snap it. The foliage green is a little darker than OD green but that's alright to me. All in all for $30 bucks its a great helmet. (its my first helmet and I think it is great for beginners)
Pros:
The pros are that it has ARC rails, a NVG mount, really secure durable Velcro, and that it is fairly durable for only being $30. It does take some "re-placement" of the padding inside, but it is a really solid helmet. All the screws and stuff are metal, so you dont need to worry about this being a full plastic gun.
Cons:
The cons are that you could probably snap it in half, but it wont break if you drop it or if it gets shot with bbs. The middle circle padding in the helmet makes it sit really high on your head and not only COMPLETELY show your ears and a little bit more, but looks kind of awkward. The NVG mount is made of the same material as the helmet (and arc rails) which is that light yet durable polymer. The chin strap doesn't actually fit on my chin, it only fits around my neck but i could really care less because I wear a mesh bottom face mask. (but it could also be that I have a chubby face) And lastly about the texture, you can tell that the manufactures tried to make it look like there is a little texture to it but it is all smooth and it was probably polished over or something, but still a great buy!
First of all, I must say that AIRSOFT GI ROCKS: I got this great helmet for ONLY $27, but the cheapest one Airsoft Megastore had with tactical rails was $65!!!!!! Who could afford to pay that?!?!?! GO WITH AIRSOFT GI! :D
Ok, back to the helmet. It is a great beginner helmet--I mean, I'm a begginer and its great for me lol--, is exremely adjustable, and really tough. Besides, this is one of only two helmets that I know of that you can buy replacement screws for...trust me, they can be easy to lose.
BEGGINER AIRSOFTERS HEAR ME!!! I would HIGHLY recommend buying the following from Airsoft GI:
--This helmet ($27)
--ZAN Nylon Balaclava (black) ($10, trust me its worth the money)
--Lancer Tactical CA-213G Airsoft Safety Mask Standard with Multi Lens Kit - OD Green Frame / Smoke, Clear, and Yellow lens ($17)
--and Bravo V2 Strike Metal Lower Face Mask (Black) ($20)
for a SICK beginner head protection setup for around $70.
Sorry this review is so long but I LOVE THIS HELMET!
Pros:
--AMAZING PRICE
--Highly adjustable
--Very sturdy plastic
--Tactical rails
--Space on front for a GoPro mount
--Replacement screws avaliable
--Good quality padding inside
--Nice velcro real estate
--Cool chinstrap
Cons:
--*Not really a con since it goes for all helmets* but the screws CAN COME OFF if you overtighten the helmet on your facemask so check screws periodically and don't wear it too tight.
--Rides a little high on your head but gives the front enough room for goggle + lower facemask setup
--Not the highest quality straps but hey its no biggie.
