Emerson AF Helmet Cover (Camo)
[V00E02A][17727 / AC-257C]The Emerson AF Helmet Cover is a great way to aid in concealment and make a helmet match a particular loadout pattern. The netted design and color of the helmet cover aids in disrupting the shape of the helmet in the surrounding environment. Sewn along the cover are webbing straps for weaving in foliage from a given area of operation. Two Velcro panels are located in the rear, side, and top position allowing for nametapes, IFF patches or strobes, or unit patches to help bring identification to the helmet cover.

Mesh helmet cover, 4 Velcro patches on the exterior of the cover, two on the front for blood type patches or IR squares.
The top rear Velcro patch is 3L x 2W inches. The rear bottom Velcro patch is 4L x 3W inches. It is "slightly" too small for the helmet it was made for. Small areas of tan will show in places it was made to cover. I ended up having to mount my Wilcox NVG shroud on top of the helmet cover rather than under it. The cover was only designed to be used with your STANDARD NVG shroud. It secures to the helmet via 10 Velcro stick on circles. However the adhesive is very poor on the Velcro circles and they will fall off. I secured them to the helmet via superglue and have had zero issue since. It has some rows of looping on the helmet which is easily utilized for a retention system for accessories such as a MS2000. Overall, with the minor flaws it has, and the minimal DIY mods, it's a great alternative to purchasing the $50 Crye cover.
Pros:
Durable.
Gives your helmet a nice look.
Plenty of Velcro.
Price point is very reasonable.
Cons:
Minimal DIY mods required to keep it in secured.
Slightly to small in certain areas (but it does fit the helmet).
