Back Story: A super volcano has erupted out of Yellowstone National Park, covering the majority of the United States in ash and darkness for an estimated three to five years. This has affected all aspects of normal every day life. Food prices have skyrocketed as crops are destroyed due to lack of sunlight. A majority of animal life in the Western United States is no longer able to sustain itself in an eco system that has been ripped apart, and the fabric of civil society has been rent asunder with the complete collapse of local and state governments.

Emergency sustainment zones have already been quietly built all across the United States for the continuation of the American way of life in just such a disaster. Unfortunately because of widespread civilian casualties and a nation-wide communications breakdown due to the volcanic eruption, basic civil services, power, as well as water infrastructure, along with the rule of law have collapsed all across the Western US. Groups of armed civilians flock to the last remaining shelters against devastation on the West coast.

The last remaining emergency sustainment zone remains open and untouched in Antioch, CA. Two caravans of armed civilians now head toward its fully stocked caverns from both the north and the south with room enough for only one group. The fight is on for survival. Do you have what it takes to weather the storm?

Gamepod Camping Ticket

Cost: $20

Registration Process: Please print out a copy of the Gampod Camping Ticket invoice and bring it to the game.

Description:
This ticket will give 1 person permission to stay overnight on the field at Gamepod Combat Zone. This ticket will also include dinner on the night of July 12th as well as breakfast on the morning of July 13th before the start of day 2 of Airsoft GI's Assault on Antioch (Vegetarian options available upon request before the day of the event).

At the close of the raffle on day 1 of Assault on Antioch, everyone who has a Gamepod Camping Ticket will be asked to stow their gear in the secondary briefing area. This area will be closed off by Gamepod staff to prevent theft. After everyone has their gear stowed in the secondary briefing room, dinner will be served. Bathrooms will be available the entire night and additional snacks will be available through vending machines located in both briefing rooms.

Campers are encouraged to bring their own snacks and drinks, as well as flashlights, board games, and anything else needed to have a comfortable camping experience. We recommend bringing a sleeping bag, sleeping mat/pad, and a pillow. Gamepod staff will also be present the entire night to deal with any issues that may arise in addition to supervising the battery charging stations so that players can be ready for Day 2 of Assault on Antioch.

This is brand new idea that we are working on with the help and support of Gamepod Combat Zone staff in order to make the playing experience not only much more fun and community-oriented, but more affordable as well. Hotels can be expensive and this is a great way to save money as well as to meet new people and make new friends.

So, come join us at Assault on Antioch and buy a Gamepod Camping ticket to make your airsoft experience that much more memorable!

Additional Scenario Rules:

Melee Kills: These kills are not only allowed, they are encouraged. Foam weapons such as Nerf melee weapons (Foam tomahawks, swords, axes, etc.), fake rubber bayonets, and homemade soft melee items are all useable. If you are unsure if you're melee weapon is safe to use, do the right thing and ask Gamepod staff for guidance. In addition, please do not swing for the fences when going for melee kills. A tap on the shoulder or a gentle prod with a melee weapon should suffice.

Vehicles: These will be available during Scenario 3 to the team that held the vehicle bay at the end of the game during Scenario 2. Vehicles can be destroyed by a single C4 charge that must be placed on the vehicle then activated by turning on the red LED light on top of the C4. Vehicles can also be killed by one hit from either a rocket or a rocket launched by the Gamepod Artillery.

Rockets and Artillery: In addition to taking out vehicles in one shot, if a rocket lands in a room, everyone in that room is dead. Players in rooms adjacent to that room are still considered alive and may continue playing. Furthermore, if a rocket detonates outside a building, everyone within 15 feet of the impact zone is considered "dead."

Grenade Rules: Thunder B and Tornado grenades are cleared for use. Thunder B's "kill" any player within 15 feet of detonation. Tornado grenades "kill" any player that is hit by BBs.

Respawn Deployment: Each team will have a respawn point marked by a Gamepod Crate with the team's colors on it. There are limited locations to deploy a respawn point and once deployed it cannot be moved. To deploy a respawn point an active player must set down the respawn case and open it fully in order for it to count as deployed. Enemy forces must stay at least 50 feet away from a deployed respawn point. Players respawn in 10-person waves. So once there are at least 10 players at the respawn point, they may re-enter the game.

Building Control: To control a building, a team must have at least 3 players inside and zero enemy players inside contesting it. If there are any enemy players inside the structure, even just a single player, the building counts as contested and neither side will receive any points.

Capture: Capture rules will not be in effect for this game.

Medics: Medic rules will not be in effect for this game.
