The NC Star Tactical Green Dot w/ Built in Laser and Rails is deigned for use on SMGs or Rifles that have 20mm rails. This unit is powered by one CR123 Lithium battery. The green dot can be used for longer range shots where accuracy is of the utmost importance. Additionally the laser can be used for closer range shots where the shooter only needs a general idea where the BB is going to go. This is an excellent design from NC Star.
