Airsoft GI employs some of the best techs from around the country in order to produce the quality that you would expect from one of the largest airsoft retailers in the world. To allow the techs to show off what they can do we gave them a budget of $1200 to make their dream AEG, and this M4 Strong-arm is the brain child of Tech Spencer.
Spencer AKA the Bicep has been working as a tech for longer than most airsofters have even been playing airsoft. Spencer is well versed in the ways of working on the M4 rifle and therefore he built this dream AEG off of the King Arms Colt Full Metal M4-A1. Spencer picked this AEG to start the build due to the fact that it offers an extremely realistic metal receiver with fully licensed trade marks. Spencer kept the externals quite simple and low profile which allowed him to focus on the internals. Externally, Spencer replaced the standard hand guard with a Madbull Daniel Defense RIS II as well as replacing the rear end with a enhanced buffer tube by Madbull and a Magpul MOE Stock. Echo 1 back up sights were paired with a Bravo AP Mini red dot to ensure that every shot is on target.
Internally is where this build really gets interesting, and it will not disappoint. Spencer started by replacing the gearbox shell with a VFC gearbox to ensure durability and proper fitment with the upgraded parts. Next, Spencer replaced the bearings, cylinder head, cylinder, spring, air-nozzle, and wiring all with high quality Magic Box parts. Magic Box parts were chosen for their continued performance and attention to detail. Next, Spencer replaced the stock gears with Siegetek 14:1 ratio gears. Siegetek gears were chosen for their extremely durability and the fact that they continue to impress the airsoft community in nearly any set up imaginable. To power this AEG Spencer chose the Tienly GT40000 motor which gives the AEG an insanely fast trigger response and rate of fire. To ensure the durability of the electrical components Spencer hard wired in a Burst Wizard King Kong Mosfet, which not only protects the circuitry but gives the user control over the AEG. Of course all of these high end and perfectly tuned parts would be useless without a high end barrel system. That is why Spencer installed a Modify Hop up chamber paired with a Prometheus tight bore barrel to ensure that each BB reaches its destination.
The M4 Strong-Arm is not only a great looking AEG but internally it is perfectly tuned with the best parts on the market and is sure to impress any caliber of player. Spencer took great pride in this build as he does with every build and the end user of this AEG will be able to sense that very same feeling of pride with every shot fired.
