Scatterplot Sorbo pads are laser cut from Sorbothane, which is a synthetic viscoelastic urethane polymer, to perfectly match your AEG’s cylinder head. The use of Sorbothane is two fold. First off, Sorbothane is a shock absorbent, and when used on a cylinder head, it absorbs the shock of the piston head making it much less likely that the gearbox will crack at the front. Secondly, the added thickness of the Sorbo pad helps correct the angle of engagement which improves the life of the piston. Sorbothane will also significantly quiet your AEG by reducing the decibels created by the piston head striking the cylinder head.
