Like the other review, i got this for my JG M4 S-system. Absolutely love it! Worth every dime! Very easy and quick to install and oh such a difference! The effective range of my M4 was doubled, and I'm not exaggerating! Accuracy is also just simply amazing, considerably better than stock barrel. I can hit a man-sized target no-sweat at 150 feet, and on full auto have good chance of hitting a man-sized target at 200 feet. A side note though, if your gonna use this barrel, you better be ready to take care of it, get a cleaning rod and use it properly. And while your at it, get some silicone oil and oil your gun and magazine, it'll keep them from breaking.
Pros:
Cheap
Easy to install
Provides incredible accuracy
Will give your M4 amazing range
Cons:
None
I purchased this when they first debuted coupled with a G&G GR-16 Pro. Since then I've put 40,000+ rounds through it so it's time for a review. Mine was perfect straight out of the packaging. I didn't find any defects whatsoever. I can't compare it to the 6.035mm tightbore that the GR-16 came with as I haven't fired a round through it. There is a very noticeable difference between the ASGI 6.03mm and this 6.01mm. The gun becomes very precise with a 6.01mm tightbore. For the price and the availability I'm giving it a 5/5. EDGI, DBC, and Madbull barrels are superior...but these don't trail by much. They're definitely worth the money and installation. Be sure to clean these barrels often. I recommend bringing a cleaning rod + cloths with you to games.
Pros:
Nice, Smooth Finish (Nickel Coated)
Smooth Bore
Hop-Up Cut was precise and free of defects
Increases FPS (10-20fps)
Increases Range (20-50ft)
Increases Accuracy (1in groups @ 100ft)
Cons:
Not the exact length of M4 length barrels (It's not a big deal but others could have problems)
VERY good quality barrel, bought about a month ago and have but about 5,000 rounds through it and besides having to replace the stock bucking, have had no problems with it.
Pros:
very precise
lightweight
durable
Cons:
the packaging could have been a little more secure

You shouldn't, unless you have a maple leaf or some professional hop up system. And barrel installation is simple. There are helpful videos on youtube. But this barrel is already prefitted you could say, so you also shouldn't need barrel shims
