[P11A00][17801 / AM AEG 013 DE]New to airsoft? Here are some safety tips for airsoft guns that we recommend following.
ARES prides itself on high performance and long range accuracy, replicating models held in high regards by military and law enforcement snipers. Each ARES gun replicates the look and feel of their true life counterparts, incorporating original and innovative designs. Top-quality constructions can easily be seen from CNC-milled components, metal/alloy receivers, and generous use of polymer-reinforced parts.
The ARES Amoeba is another well built airsoft gun. It's compact design serves a great purpose in close quarter environments. Externally, the Amoeba features a polymer upper and lower receiver. The unique design features an engraved logo on the left side. The built in barrel extension runs flush inside the rail system providing a unique look but commonly found in certain video games. Internally, this gun contains ARES well known internals. Polycarbonate piston with full metal tooth rack, steel gear set, ported polycarbonate piston head, micro switch trigger and electronic control unit. The electronic control unit is programmable to be switched to burst fire or semi only. Overall, this is another well built close quarter airsoft gun by ARES. The ARES programming unit is sold separately.Specifications:

the gun is fantastic. i got it over a year ago and have been loving it ever since
with the 3 included railsegments i get all the accesorie space i need. the 6.03 mm inner barrel goes to the exact tip of the gun with the flashider stabalizing it your shots.
the polymer body is EXTREMLY sturdy. only part i absolutely hated for this gun was the sights. being very cheap. it has an extended trigger guard so you know what you'll be on when removing the magazine. ares has also decided to go with the rotary style hopup making it easier for you to get onto and adjust. the only other part which is bad but not awful but isnt great is the Battery space. it is extremely small. but there are people who sell extenders for this guns battery space. with ares going to the newest lines of guns i will say this thing is amazing youll want to use a lipo on this because the trigger response is like a mouse click. they are fantastic and will make you extremely satisfied. another thing is because of the mother bored system in the gun and all the amazing parts that ares has made for this gun it is able to run a 11.1 lipo out of the box.
Pros:
amazing trigger response
amazing look
light weaight
short length
11.1 lipo ready out of the box
Cons:
bad sights
small batery space but not really that bad if you find small lipos
i would eventully change the motor in the gun.
Ares Amoeba Am-013
I have had the Am-013 for a year now after purchasing it off of craigslist from a guy who had it who knows how long. It still works like a charm and gets great range up to 200 ft. The trigger response is insanely fast and if you want a speed soft gun out of the box then this is the gun for you. The only serious downsides are the battery space. It is compact but you can simply buy a battery compartment extension from AirTech Studios which allows standard size nunchuck batteries. I personally just cut an extra notch on the bars on the stock. The build quality is great and will not break. Metal rails and polymer body allows for a lightweight gun. The grip is plastic but feels really nice, especially with gloves on.
It looks very unique, functions well, and comes with plenty of attachment space.
Pros:
1. Trigger Response
2. Range
3. Construction
4. Rails/Hand stops
Overall a wonderful gun for both beginners and pros.
Cons:
1. Battery Space
2. Flash hider (Personal pet peeve)
3. Wobbly upper receiver when disassembled (This is not the case when the gun is put together)
Ares Amoeba AM-013
Externals:
So ill start off by saying this gun is absolutely amazing and just to be clear there are hardly any cons on this weapon. Starting on the back this gun has a two point adjustable stock (Something I simply fixed by cutting a few more notches into the buffer bar things.) It has a small amount of battery space if the stock is closed but when its open and there is tape over the battery you should have no problem extending it to its full length. Moving up there are the two polymer receivers. They are very sturdy unless you disassemble the gun. The over sized trigger guard and unique flared magwell adds to the interesting parts of this gun. Every thing except the bolt catch functions properly. A metal rail extends thirteen inches from the receiver. The rail is very easy to fit you hand around for a tacticool operator look. It is very comfortable and includes several rails and the handstops that can be adjusted as you see fit. The iron sights on the top of the gun are crappy but work all the same. The magazine features a legit mag pull which is very interesting. Lastly, the flash hider/ suppressor. This is suppressor is a replica that has no legit purpose other than holding the barrel. The flash hider is good, however it is a large orange spot that can easily be spotted. I have wrapped mine in electrical tape and that seems to work fine. The externals of this gun are amazing.
Internals:
I have personally not opened the gearbox however the motor is very high speed and the trigger response with this gun is amazing out of the box. If you want a speedsoft gun out of the box this gun works extremely well. The barrel extends all the way to the end of the flash hider and grants you range out to 200 ft. The hopup is a dial type which is extremely nice. Overall great internals for both beginner or a professional.
Pros:
1. Great construction
2. Interesting look
3. Cool textured magazine and grip.
4. Rails
6. Hand stops
7. Fast trigger response
8. Great barrel for range
9. Good hopup system
Cons:
1. Battery space
2. Iron sights
3. Wobbly body if disassembled
4. Flash hider

Staff Answer:
You could. It will void warranty. Since you are putting a higher voltage battery. There will be increased wear and tear on the rifle just like any moving mechanical component. 3207 days ago 0

Staff Answer:
Airsoft GI does not recommend use of springs over an M120 due to the excess wear and tear that may occur with use of stronger springs.

Keep in mind that any modification to the gun will void Airsoft GI/Manufacturer warranties. 3318 days ago 0

does this come with four rails?
I wasn't sure because your competitor sells it with one long bottom rail and one top small rail. In your pictures there are rails on all four sides of the gun. If you have rails on all four sides I'll buy the gun from you guys and not you competitor. Thank you.
