Lonex motors uses high resistance enameled wire, up to 200 C, to build the core of the motor. A set of ball bearings are installed at both ends of the motor, not only improves the rotations but also further improves energy consumption. Very nice motor. I'm building a DMR set up, and as other DMs know, trigger response needs to be quick. All I can say, for semi-auto purposes, it's amazing! Rate of fire on full auto is beefed up by about 5-10 b.bs a second? I haven't officially checked, just going by sound. I bought a MOSFET also, and with the three-round burst, it's rediculouly fast! (My field designates my M16A4 as a DMR because I only run mid-low caps and a bit higher FPS, plus I'm an admin there) Amazing motor!

if your building a highspeed set up, or just want an amazing torque motor, here it is. Dont get the high speed motor, yeah it might have a faster rof, but it has to build up to that rof everytime you fire and seem sluggish at first, these lonex torque motors are an amazing upgrade, and bumped up my g&g cm rof to mid 20's on a 9..

some may fear the high price tag, but this motor is well worth the money, don't waste your money on cheaper alternatives that others recommend. i compared this to my jg blue, and this motor was far more superior. highly recommend!

Awesome motor. Pulls an M150/M160 spring flawlessly. Runs a tad hot under those loads.

What else must be changed in a stock gun if it were to pull stiffer spring with the A2?
For example if i wanted to change a stock motor and spring and use a Lonex a2 and a m130 what else should I change to make it reliable and durable as you say.

Will it work in a fmg4 a1 noveske hard next generation?
I just want a motor that will replace the *meh* one in my fmg4 A1 noveske hard next generation with out shredding the gear box and without going over 400 fps. Is this the motor for me, and if not witch one would best suit my needs?

what spring stiffness is this rated for?
The details about the motor are nice but it would be nice to have what stiffness of springs the lonex line of motors are designed for. Not trying to bash you guys but just giving some feed back.

There are multiple factors in play when determine what spring can be pulled including battery power & gearset ratio. On a standard 9.6V NiMH & standard gearset, this motor should be able to turn an M120 without any other modifications. Stiffer springs, such as an M130-M140, maybe require additional upgrades to ensure durability & reliability. 3682 days ago 0
