Cybergun FNX-45 GBB Pistol Red/Green Dot Sight Plate
[X11B05][19481 / 99FNXP / AZI-CG-FNX-TM / 27002]New to airsoft? Here are some safety tips for airsoft guns that we recommend following.
The FN Herstal FNX-45 Tactical is a gas blowback pistol officially licensed by FN Herstal of Belgium. Established in 1889 to manufacture 150,000 Mauser Model 89 Rifles, FN Products have become standard issue for many law enforcement agencies and military's around the world. Their products range from the FNX line of pistols to the M2 .50 caliber machine gun.
The CyberGun FNX-45 Optic Plate is designed to provide a much more stable platform when mounting micro red / green dot sights. Similar to the real firearm optic mount, the plate will provide a better seal under the optic from debris, protecting the battery and any exposed electronics. Constructed out of aluminum for a lightweight and durable setup, the plate is anodized to protect against rust and light scratches. Overall, this plate is a must for those looking to add an optic to their FNX-45 without drastically increasing the weight of the slide. The plate uses the screws included with the plate secure it to the slide, and the two longer screws included in the package are designed to secure the optic on to the plate. This product is made specifically for the CyberGun FNX-45 GBB Pistol and should not be used for real firearms.

WARNING: DOES NOT FIT TRIJICON RM06 RMR!
The Trijicon RMR uses two 6/32x1/2" screws to attach to most adapter plates. However, the two holes on the Azimuth plate I received are just a TINY bit too small to accept 4 different kinds of 6/32x1/2" screws that I tried, which is a huge disappointment. No idea what size they expect you to use, or where to find them as no screws are included with this plate to mount red dot sights.
Pros:
The Azimuth plate is the only one I have found so far that allows co-witness with the FNX raised iron sights. Most others on the market currently are a bit thicker, meaning the Red dot sight will sit a little higher.
Comes with 4 screws used to attach to your FNX-45.
Cons:
Disappointingly this plate will not allow a real Trijicon RMR06 to screw into the provided holes without a new set of screws, I have no idea what size.
Does not come with screws to attach any red dot sights.
Two of the screws that attach the adapter plate to your FNX (the bigger ones) do not sit fully flush against the plate when fully screwed in, pushing agaisnt the RMR and leaving a teeny tiny gap between the plate and the RMR when they are attached.
Over $20 is a little steep for this tiny piece of metal, especially when other adapters are available at around half the price.

(I have this same question)
Staff Answer:
The original screws that mount this sight onto its base are also used in conjunction with this mount to secure a mini red dot onto the FNX-45 slide. If you have any additional questions as to how this sight mounts, give us a call at (909)869-0671, and one of our representatives should be able to assist you.

NC STAR Compact Tactical Green Dot Sight [Link] 3331 days ago 0
