These are (obviously) the most amazing magazines I have ever encountered. OK, maybe its the gun more than the mags, but still, I am impressed that these can keep up with the rof of a PTW with an m110 and 12v battery. If you are considering a PTW, you may have read that these can only take up to 110 rounds before they jam, misfeed, chop bb's, etc. This is not true. All you need to do is lube each mag with silicone, and break them in by loading and shooting acouple of times before game day. The one problem is that the springs in the mags are too powerful to use with the large 470 rd. speed loaders.
Pros:
Feed flawlessly
weigh almost as much as the real thing loaded
same color as real steel
Cons:
expensive
risk breaking 470 rd. speed loader
These magazines are amazing for the most part. I have had them for four years and put them through all weather conditions and they still function correctly. I use them for my Systema M4-A1 MAX PTW. After breaking in all of my magazines they feed flawlessly and I have had no issues with the internals of the magazines (meaning I've never had to open them and fix them). The followers in the magazines are easily lost tho, but it's not a big deal because these are not necessary for their use. I do have one out of seven magazines that completely empties itself when release from the gun. Overall these are wonderful magazines and have functioned great over the past four years of abuse and are a great buy for a systema user.
Pros:
- Real metal
- Durable
- Can survive harsher environments
- Feed flawlessly
- Realistic weight and look
- Very little maintenance required
Cons:
- Takes time to break in
- Followers are easily lost
- Heavy when carrying 6 in a plate carrier
