Battery Information Video
New to airsoft? Here are some safety tips for airsoft guns that we recommend following.

KRYTAC, established in Southern California in 2013, is a dedicated product research and design team of the Switzerland-based firearms manufacturer KRISS Group. The primary focus of KRYTAC is to engineer premium airsoft products for recreational use. Additionally, KRYTAC also specializes in the advancement of cutting edge professional training systems. The KRYTAC team is comprised of highly experienced firearm and airsoft professionals who have come together for one common goal, to provide premium products that evolve individuals beyond their boundaries.

The KRYTAC brand name is derived from the legendary sea creature, The Kraken. The Kraken was feared, and revered, for it's power and dominance in the sea. No other creature could match The Kraken in strength and speed. The spirit of The Kraken lives on in KRYTAC.

Trident SPR is designed to be the ideal scout rifle to take into the field. The 14.5" barrel and 13" free floating DEFIANCE keymod hand guard gives the user numerous customization options. The DEFIANCE hand guard features three prongs at the front that can be used to brace the gun against barricades, eliminating the need for an aftermarket barricade stop rail accessory. The aluminum receivers feature a stamped KRYTAC logo and a dull matte black finish. Additional features include an ambidextrous fire selector and a locking bolt that provides easy access to the KRYTAC rotary hop-up system. The KRYTAC rotary hop-up has 15 adjustment settings and a numbered adjustment wheel for a quick reference point to determine how much hop is needed. At the rear of the SPR is the KRYTAC adjustable crane stock, which features two different battery configurations, nunchuck style batteries can fit in the tubes or a small lithium polymer brick battery can fit at the rear of the stock in front of the buttpad. A third battery option for the Trident SPR is a stick battery in the buffer tube. The stock also features two QD sling swivel divots as well as a loop for strap type sling attachments. The SPR has the look of a long distance rifle, and it also has the power plant to back it up.

Internally, the Trident SPR features a reinforced 8mm ball bearing gearbox with integrated MOSFET to regulate electronic signals and to protect the trigger contacts. The corners of the gearbox that surround the cylinder feature a smooth radius, as opposed to a 90 degree angle, to prevent fracture. Also, the gearbox shell features a small window on the left side where lubrication can be applied directly to the gears or piston, this window is also convenient for inspecting the angle of engagement with the gearbox fully assembled. Additional gearbox features include a modular spring guide system that will allow the spring to be changed without completely disassembling the gearbox. The KRYTAC piston is made of a durable, lightweight, polymer and features 4 metal teeth, with the 2nd to last tooth absent. The Cylinder head is padded with an enlarged rubber bumper to optimize the angle of engagement and to absorb energy form the impact of the piston assembly. The material for the gears have been especially formulated to be very strong, Rockwell test figures on the KRYTAC gears are much higher than industry norms. Turning all of the drive train components is the KRYTAC high torque motor, capable of 30,000 revolutions per minute unloaded. The Trident SPR is designed to excel at medium to long distance engagements.

Product Information:
You should just stop looking now if you're looking for a high quality gun. This doesn't even compare to any other gun I've shot or seen. Great quality gun as its all metal. Feels very sturdy in your hand and its amazingly accurate and has very good range. I have been hitting a body 2 x 2 target at up to 70 yards with iron sights. On top of all this, the gun itself is very good looking and has very lightweight rails as its keymod everywhere except the top rail. I'm intending to put miracle barrel and different spring in it once warranty goes out and it will become even better in every category.

Pros:
Range
Accuracy
All metal
Durable
Rail system
ROF is AMAZING: 15-20 per second

Cons:
Hardly any at all
Mags wobble a little

Product Information:
Krytac SPR, Very good performing AEG for the price and sturdy as well.
One more con that I forgot to add: Your still reading my review instead of adding this to your cart. Buy this gun. JUST DO IT. DON'T LET YOUR DREAMS STAY DREAMS. YESTARDAY YOU SAID TOMORROW. SO JUST DO IT. ADD IT TO YOUR CART.

Pros:
Pros:(Yay)
(The following magazines have been Tested and Work)G&P 130 Limited Edition Skull Frog Mid-Caps, Elite Force 140 Round Mid-Caps, Valken 300 Round High-Caps, and PTS EPM 150 Round Mid-Caps(Note: The G&P Mags are really tight in the magwell so just saying)
Shoots .20g BBs very straight even in strong winds
Very Light for something constructed with and Aluminum rail and upper and lower body
Has a really sound and feel when you shoot Semi-Auto but feels even better when you shoot Full-Auto to catch the cheaters(Don't overshoot though or you may end up wanting to physically bond with the gun)

Cons:
Cons:
Motor gets hot after a while
Buttpad is kind of a big pain in the heiny to pull off
Hop-Up A. does not make distinct clicking noises like people say and B. The amount of hop is determined by a small line
Ambi fire selector switch is a bit sticky when used left-handed(Probably something with the way they were tightened)
Gear Box has an O-Ring on the nozzle so lubricate it often

Product Information:
Picked up this AEG as soon as it was available, haven't looked back since.

Keep in mind I Ordered this from Canada, so I payed quite a bit more, it was defiantly worth the purchase. I still run this as my main and have finally gotten around to getting it tuned up a bit more (DSG). I have been running it flawlessly, on an 11.1 25-50c battery since day one.

Krytac have done, what should have been done 5 years ago.

Pros:
The weight is on point. Stock is very well designed, not my personal taste (I run with a UBR stock) but it defiantly does what it is supposed to. Gearbox is build like a tank, and I say this as someone that's jammed the hell out of it, run it hard during freezing conditions, and run a few batteries simultaneously through a milsim.

Cons:
Faux dust cover latch breaks easily. Same as my LVOA.

I had the same question. I would go with the krytac even though both guns are good krytac comes with a lot of stuff a stock AEG wouldn't have like a integrated MOSFET and keymod rail. Both guns probably have around the same range.

There should be no issue with a Magpul PTS Motor Grip fitting on this gun. However, it may change the angle of engagement for the motor, and may result in excess friction within the gearbox.

Keep in mind that any modification to the gun will constitute a void warranty, and is not covered by Airsoft GI/Krytac.

SPR is a good gun for field but the 14.5" barrel may be a little harder to maneuver in a CQB environment, the Amoeba would be easier to maneuver, but lacks the same accuracy at range.

Deans rewire
So the Krytac warranty is voided if you modify the gun and if I get it I plan on keeping it bone stock except for one issue. All of my Lipo batteries have been wired to deans, so I'd be required to rewire the gun to deans connectors. I'm assuming if I do this myself it would void the warranty, but my question is if I asked you guys at ASGI to rewire it for me ahead of shipping it out, would that void the warrant as well?
