The VFC PEQ15 Illuminator Laser & LED Light Combo is not a battery box, it is a real aiming aid device. Up until now every airsoft PEQ15 has been an empty box made to look like a laser, but this is the real thing. VFC have combined a high intensity laser and LED flashlight in a high impact plastic case. The laser and light are powered by one CR123 lithium battery. On top of the box is an activation switch, but included is a remote pressure switch that the user can opt to plug in or leave it off. Next to the activation button is a switch where you can select laser only, light only, or both of them on at the same time. Also included are realistic warning laser that can be placed on the PEQ15 for an even more authentic look. The mount to secure this PEQ15 is sturdily constructed of metal for a firm foundation on any rail that it's mounted on.

The visible red laser is indeed adjustable with the 4 adjustments posts, the adjustment is not as free as say a red dot or holographic sight and the travel is limited. Example, the red dot would not go as high as the dot on my M68, also, keep in mind that zeroing this to match a red dot is pointless, as the position of your visible projected red dot will change drastically when distance is thrown into the mix.Use one or the other. I have the tan VFC version and it works flawlessly. Use the 16340 battery type for a stronger output for the flashlight and dot.
No battery - use 16340s for higher output
Plastic lock tab for picatinny rail - not a deal breaker for $120....

Overall this peq 15 does what it advertised. Body is made of plastic, not sure what might happen if it is hit by a bb in game. Light is not that bright. Laser is red, would have been more realistic if it was green.
When I put it on the rail of my KWA M4 RIS, I noticed the laser is not zeroed in with the sights. The box itself has four different "adjustment knobs." I was messing around with them for a while. It doesn't seem like they do anything, so I'm guessing it is also just for authenticity purposes.
The switch is huge, and I mean HUGE! Only the very middle of the pad is the actual pressure point. Would've been nice if they made it smaller. Not sure what grip the pad will fit on.
Overall it does as advertised. I think price is pretty steep for just a light and laser, but it makes your aeg look good with an actual function.
It has a working laser and light.
No adjustment knobs, that actually work. (if they do, please someone correct me)
Pressure switch is big considering the only pressure point is right in the middle.
In my opinion the price is a con.
