This NC STAR 1.25-4x32 Red/Green Mil Dot Quick Release Scope is equipped with a bullet drop compensator. It features a one piece aircraft-grade aluminum with scratch resistant hard-coat anodized black matte finish. Also, a thumb screw mouting unit for the carry handle. The bullet drop compensator is for 100-500 meters usage. Precise1/4" click in windage and elevation adjustment for easy and exact zeroing. Installs in seconds without tools.
I have to say, this scope is amazing. I use it on my G&G gr4 g26 and it works wonders. The quick release system is soooooo helpful and the scope is dead accurate. It's taken many falls but still works too. One into mud. Well worth the money.
Worth the money.
Works in cqb too(1.25)
no wobble if put on right.
NONE, except I was a little confuzzled at how to tighten at first.

I've had this for about 14 months now and I still love it. As far as scopes for airsofting go, you get what you pay for. A $30 scope or red dot sight will be worth $30.
This scope has so many excellent features it is worth the money for sure. The red/green illumination is excellent, and helps for quick acquisition of your sight picture. That being said, I don't use it. During normal daylight the black cross hairs are perfectly clear and easy to see. During dawn/dusk or low light environments, even the lowest setting is a bit too bright for my tastes. This it is not a significant downfall, I personally just prefer to leave it off.
The sights are full adjustable for wind age and elevation, and the scope features a quick "range" setting to adjust the elevation from 100m to 500m in addition to the normal elevation adjustment. While it CAN be helpful, I leave mine at 300 and adjust the normal elevation knob.
Quick release is handy if you ever want to take the scope off to use as a quick monocular, which I've done several times. As long as you set the scope back on the rail in the exact same place your sights will remain zeroed (at least as far as airsofting is concerned).
Where this scope really shines in functionality is the variable magnification. When you're walking through heavy brush you can have it set to 1.25x and be able to quickly acquire targets similar (but not exactly) like using a 30mm red dot. When in the defense, engaging at long range, or for use as a monocular, you can set the magnification to 4x. In my opinion this is the best feature of the scope.
I've used this on a SAW, an M4 for MOUT, and an M16 for field no complaints with any platform.
It's been about a month since I purchased this scope, and let me say: it is one AWESOME scope!!! Very solid, very accurate. The low range magnification is perfect for airsoft (the ones that are locked in 4x limit your uses and give you only one option, but with this you have full flexibility for any situation you get thrown at you). Being a DMR with an m16, this is a perfect addition to my setup and was the true finishing touch. While it looks more like an elongated ACOG, don't let the other players tell you differently, this is still a true sniper scope, and there is no questioning about it, regardless of it's looks.
It's very solid, no wobbles, the QD lever is easy to move but stays firmly in place when set. The set screw is a bit tricky to adjust (it kept falling off for me, but that's just because it's short and I over-loosened it on a few occasions) but for the most part, it's already good out of the box to be mounted to a RIS unit. Illumination is VERY bright, kind of a pro, kind of a con. I was shooting with it at night, and with illumination on red or green, it's too bright to see anything beyond the crosshairs. Not too bad though, for most of the time you can still see with the black crosshairs just fine. But otherwise, it's a pro.
THE ONLY CON is that no matter how much you adjust the set screws and everything else on the QD lever, it WILL NOT fit straight onto a CA M15 (the rail under the removable carry handle). The rail is actually too thick (I'd imagine thicker than other brands or even the real steel version) to accommodate the interfacing system on the bottom of the scope. The only way to fix this is by getting a riser mount from leapers or whatever other brand you may find (I believe leapers has the least expensive one, being $20 from a local airsoft store). Not too bad of a thing, but more of a problem with the gun rather than the scope itself, but this is just a warning....
I would DEFINITELY recommend this scope to anyone who wants a very solid DMR scope with the best versatility for any situation.
- Adjustable zoom (perfect for the limited range in airsofting)
- QD mount
- Bright illumination*
- Compact and sleek
- Riser needed, making this effectively $20 more expensive
- (ACOG look might not be as appealing as the standard scope look)
- Bright illumination*
That's about all i can think of!!!! Not huge cons (to the extent that if you don't use it at night and can mount it to your gun, it would really have no cons whatsoever!) overall.
