The Systema Energy line of internal AEG upgrade parts are the first ever complete line of lightweight, energy efficient, airsoft gun enhancements. The Energy line from Systema was designed to do two things, reduce player fatigue and reduce parasitic drag from the gearbox's moving components. According to Systema, "a quantifiable weight reduction in the weapon platform can be achieved," by completely changing all of your internal gearbox parts to Systema's Energy line. That is where this Energy Piston fits into their design; the piston is lightened to reduce player fatigue and parasitic drag from the drive train. The lighter a the piston is the easier it is for the gears to pull it back, and the faster it can accelerate once the gears have let go. Therefore this Systema Energy piston not only saves battery power but it also may increase your gun's velocity.

Please Note:
The use of aftermarket airsoft parts is not an exact science. Some parts may require fitting even thought they were designed to fit without modification. Professional installation of upgrade parts is highly recommended.

I have two of these pistons - and must say that they are great! Very tough, very durable.
My DMR uses an m140 spring on a high torque motor, and I must say, firing full auto - semi auto with all that spring tension, it is easy to believe that a piston would surely have damage... well this piston shows no sign of wear and tear.
This piston is also good for high speed set ups, I have a G36 that is set up for high speed and it is also showing great promise. Witnessed a p90 at the North Atlantic Airsoft Expo that was shooting 36 bbs a second at 350 fps that was using this piston and showed no signs of damage.
As stated, very strong piston, better than any other piston I have come across.
Pros:
Durability
Reliability
Sturdy
Low Price
Cons:
Nothing I can mention, other than the fact that they always seem to be out of stock here
This piston works. It's fairly light, and will last for a good time in a low-stress (20ish rps) set up. For me it lasted about 30K rounds. Then the plastic around the metal tooth snapped, and the metal tooth somehow ended up in my spring, which then didn't compress and my gears shredded the thing.
Pros:
Works
Light
On-Spec
Soft so at least it's easy to Swiss-Cheese
Cons:
Soft
Weak
Expensive
Not AOE-Corrected
