The SOCOM Gear SOPMOD Stock for M4 (Black) is a two position adjustable stock with a spongy material on the buffer tube. At the end of the buffer tube, near the body, are the divots for a QD sling swivel (included), one on each side of stock. This is a great upgrade to change the look of your M4/M16.

Great stock for a decent price. It's quite a heavy duty build, and definitely not one of the cheapo plastic type stocks you'll find on a lot of AEG's. This thing is a quality stock and if I could adapt it to fit my real AR's, I'd be buying a few more. That's saying something.
Bear in mind that the set screw is used to sock this thing down tight with zero wobble. Find the pull length that works best for you... and LOCK it. Don't know why you'd want to be adjusting pull length on the fly anyways. Anyone you see doing that is a noobtool.
Pros:
Solid, durable, well-made product. No need to treat with kid gloves!
Good rubber butt pad and foam cheek pad. This unit looks great with a black external battery pouch slung under the tube portion. Fits my 11.1v 2600mah lipo pack perfectly.
Cons:
No real complaints on this one, except that I wish it came with the mounting hardware. They say you can use the existing screw and washer, but the washer in my KWA didn't fit... not even close. I had to fabricate a custom washer in order to mount this properly. No real problem for me, but may be a little bit of a hassle for some.
I have had this stock for over a year now. Build materials are Grade A. They did not skimp. The build is very solid, and that is definately evident in the weight. Adds quite a bit of a Real Steel feel to AEG's. Adjustable length. and foam padding makes for a great cheek rest. Addition of the QD sling mount is a chrished feature, as well as the built in QD mounting points, allowing the use of different Sling variants. I am highly satisfied with this stock, and the price is perfect.
Pros:
Solid build (Heavy which can be a COn)
Great Materials
Adjustability (Read Cons)
Many QD mounting points for Sling
Finsh is bullet proof
Very Unique at most games
Cons:
Buffer tube can be a little tight on different gun tyes
Very Heavy (Pro and Con)
Over time the adjustment becomes tricky. Which leads to wobble (Can be tightend down, but that effects adjustability)
All Buffer Tube screws do not work in this Stock.. Some may be too long.
Fantastic product. Feels great, weight is nice and really makes an M4 truly look tactical. It does have wobble because screw used for the receiver is slightly too long. Get single a rubber washer, and use it with the screw inside the buffer tube and wobble is gone.
Very well made and nothing on it feels cheap. I
t does extend further out than what the pic shows (I think 5 positions).
I used it to give a JG M4 pistol a stock (converting it into a CQB carbine) and it looks and handles great.
Highly recommended.
Pros:
Great construction
Great weight
Great look
Great handling
Good price for what you get
Cons:
Mounting screw is slightly (like 1 millimeter) too long. You will need to get a rubber washer to make secure.

Can this be installed onto a KWA LM4 correctly?
I'm just curious because I'm unsure if the spring that goes into the buffer tube will fit into this buffer tube.....

Does the tube have space for a battery?
My gun is rear-wired, will it still work with this? and is it easy to change the battery or does it require disassembly?

Staff Answer:
This should be able to accommodate a smaller Li-Po. Minor dis-assembly is require to access the battery, which is one screw on the top-rear of the stock. 3714 days ago 2

will it fit on a G&G combat Machine?
im assuming it replaces the buffer tube and you mount it directly to the receiver. i know some brands mount differently, im trying to get the super-high-speed-tier-1-stealth-operator look out of my CM and i dont have the money to change the body yet
