This is an Okay mag at best. It fits well in the FN-45 replica and feeds well. It does it's job.
The gas chamber holds the gas well and I have yet to have any leaks from it. The feed lip, unfortunately, doesn't accept speed loaders with the GBB feed attachments. The mag itself is way too shiny for me, and looks out of place considering the rest of the replica is rugged looking. The plastic base of the Mag is only held on by a single screw, and the plastic can snap off easily if dropped or snagged. The spring sits pretty loose in the chamber, and tends to bunch up in a disorderly manner when the Mag is fully loaded with BBs. The plastic feeding lip at the top of the spring is very fragile. Mine snapped after letting it lose without BBs in the mag... the first time. The gas is fed in through the back of the mag, which I like because it helps prevent dirt and debris from getting in when in play. Finally, this mag is WAY too expensive for what it is. Even as GBB mags go, this is up there, and the quality of the base plate and the feeding lip don't reflect or justify the asking price in my opinion.
Pros:
- Strong gas chamber
- Gas feeds well and consistently
- O-rings maintain good seal
- Feeds through the back (personal preference)
Cons:
- Feed lip doesn't not accommodate speed loaders
- Spring bunches up
- Plastic guide on spring breaks EASILY
- Plastic base is only secured by 1 screw
- Shiny (personal gripe)
- EXPENSIVE
