The CM052S is an effective support weapon from CYMA. This airsoft gun features a steel body as well as a wood stock and hand guard providing the utmost durability as well as realism. Paired with the one-piece metal outer barrel, full metal front and rear sights, and functioning charging handle, arguably make the CM052 the most realistic feeling RPK on the market. With it's unique real wood, full metal features this look-alike RPK is definitely a support weapon! The only plastic on this baby is the tough pistol grip and the orange ring wrapped around the tip of the barrel! Firing from a range of thirty-five (35) yards on full auto without the bi-pod this CM052S AEG maintains shot patterns of 2-4 inches! Unfortunately, I have not had the time to adjust the hop-up system so this is straight out of the box. Although firing straight into winds of 10-20 miles per hour with 0.20g bbs (or any bbs for that matter) isn't recommended, this long barreled AEG retains adequate suppressive fire at 70 plus yards!
After more thorough testing and field use, a secondary follow-up review along with videos will be posted.

Pros:
1.) Highly powered with a good range.
2.) Fair accuracy and shot placement pattern.
3.) Easy to access and adjust hop-up system.
4.) Adjustable sights.
5.) Easy-to-use, built-in bi-pod.
6.) Fold-able stock.
7.) Battery fits snugly in stock.
Cons:
1.) Battery isn't field changeable.
2.) Stock is difficult to fold because it requires a small shaft to insert into the unlocking mechanism.
3.) High capacity (HI CAP) magazine requires continual winding when on full auto in order to keep firing.
4.) The range isn't as far as first expected however further testing will reveal the maximum distance.
I picked this up when it was on sale for 200$, and I wouldn't recommend buying it unless it is on sale. The gun is very heavy, which can be nice if you want a "solid" feeling gun, and it is 90% metal and wood, which does look very cheap when you first get it, but gets a very nice "used" look once you take it out for a few games. The stock magazines are garbage and really let this gun down, they are advertised at holding 150 rounds before winding, but it is more like 50. This is not inherently a bad thing however, as it makes you think about how much ammunition you are using to suppress. Which is where this gun shines. Unlike heavier M240s, MG42s or M249s, this thing perfectly bridges the gap between assault rifles and larger support weapons. You can easily pin down a squad for several minutes by yourself if you manage your ammunition.
Pros:
Solid gun with no cheap plastic
Bipod is actually useful and seems sturdy.
Reliable, with a very good fire rate with 9.6v NiMH (wouldn't LiPo it, you will run out of ammo quickly.
Nothing is loose on the weapon, you could drop it dozens of times and nothing would break.
Cons:
Stock battery is awful, I got though half a skirmish and it was drained.
Battery compartment is a joke, and only fits the tiny stock battery. About the size of an SMG's
Stock magazines are awful, and require constant winding. Having trouble finding drum mags that fit as well.
While metal, it is not high quality, expect some breakage with serious bangs and drops.
This is a HEAVY gun, while not bad at the beginning of the day eventually you will be feeling it if you try to use it like an AR.
