Condor Outdoor Tactical Utility Leg Platform (Tan)
[U10A09][01873 / MA25-003]Description: The Condor Outdoor Tactical Utility Leg Platform is a great platform that allows the user to carry small items on their person without the risk of losing them. This rig features three main pouches which are all removable for maximum modularity. The largest of the pouches is a utility pouch that is perfect for small tools, BBs, or anything else you would need in a pinch. Next, a flashlight pouch allows the user a great location for a tactical light and allows the light to be easily drawn while still being very secure when not in use. Finally, a radio pouch is featured on this platform and will fit most smaller radios as well as a cellular phone if the operator wishes to do so.

this leg rig is basically a small dropleg platform that comes with 3 pouches. i was pleasantly surprised when i saw that the middle (largest) pouch is EXACTLY the same as a maxpedition anemone pouch, which retails for $25. if you put that in context it means that you buy a maxpedition anemone pouch and get a dropleg rig, pistol mag pouch and radio pouch for $2 extra. its hard to beat that kind of logic.
$25 anemone pouch
+$15 drop leg platform
+$8 mag pouch
+$8 radio pouch
=$27 complete rig?!
Pros:
-so economical it should be illegal
-rig doesnt move around at all once tightened thanks to the grippy side against your leg
-main pouch is big enough to fit and iPhone, wallet, and a large set of car keys with room to spare
-radio pouch could probably fit a grenade securely
-MOLLE webbing is solid
-will fit up to 3 M4/M16 mag pouches (although i doubt youd want to)
Cons:
-pistol mag pouch's elastic is really tight
-radio pouch is tough to adjust
-im 6'1" and on the shortest setting it comes about 3 inches from the top of my knee. if youre any shorter than me this could become a problem
-cons do not outweigh the pros at all
Great Rig. Doesn't move around much while running through the bush. Fairly low profile. The pistol mag pouch is perfect for a speed loader. The center pouch held my Phone, Wallet, and keys (which I have a big smartphone, a thick wallet, and a big set of keys.) Plus you can always put any other pouch on this rig (with the MOLLE webbing)
Pros:
Doesn't move around while running.
Pouches hold a lot of gear.
MOLLE webbing underneath.
Cons:
Does occasionally get caught on things, but this will just take getting used to having this thing strapped to your leg.

Staff Answer:
It could, but because it was not designed to do that, retention isn't the best. 3654 days ago 0
