The MagPul PTS Folded Pocket Gun (FPG) is now available as a complete package! This has been a long awaited release into the airsoft world. This gun almost exactly replicates the real FPG, something that Magpul will never commercially produce. The polymer used to build the entire FPG is very strong with the same densities and textures of the real FPG. The FPG is designed to be an ultra-concealable personal defense weapon for military and law enforcement. This PTS FPG brings Magpul's flawless designs to meet with KWA's impeccable airsoft reputation together. The result is a unique, powerful, and reliable airsoft gun that will never go out of style. The FPG features a 20mm top rail for mounting accessories, or the included carry handle, the carry handle acts as a light shield when in place. With the carry handle removed and with the FPG folded up it can fit into most front and rear pockets of averaged sized male denim jeans. No slide or extra parts needed! This FPG is fully functional right out of the box!

Package was small and compact, just amazed me at first as to h...more>> ow perfect a hideaway gun this is.
It was a un flashy plain cardboard box with Magpul markings and model indication. Opening the box reveilles the ASGI proof paper work/pre ship test. 348 FPS w/.20 BB. Magpul owners manual small bag of BB's, silicone oil, KWA hop up tool, magazine and weapon.

Build quality: Plastic is the high grade Magpul polymer apposed to ABS junk. All the parts feel solid enough and even the stock fells good to shoulder with little flex for what is a polymer gun. KWA guts are the M 18c metal slide and outer barrel. Access hatch/ top section of gun folds open to make getting to the internal slid should you need to adjust the hop up easy and quick.

Function: The gun deploys just as fast as Tim shows in the ASGI TV video and folds up just as quick with just a few buttons pushed. The barrel both inner and outer are the extended length KWA product upgrades. The outer slide cocking handle gives a satisfyingly smooth pull, as well as being independent of the inner slide so you won't need to worry about it catching your thumb when firing. Because it dose not move back and forth when gun is cycling during fire. The rate of fire is grate as anyone who has fired a G 18c on green gas can tell you. My chrono put it @ 351 FPS with .20 BB just about what ASGI paper work said it would be.

Final opinion: Love this gun, what an awesome back up gun for a sniper or anyone that would want more than a pistol to back them up IE need for a switch to a more hardcore CQB gun on the fly while outdoors. Yet it takes up little more room than a pistol. The sights work well enough but the laser I got for it helps so much more. Just a heads up. I had to trim a little off the front of the King arms flashlight to get the FPG to fold up with light installed. The laser fit fine. The extended inner /outer barrel really help put this gun in it's own category. So small when folded, so big on performance when deployed. I had no real max range estimates, but at 100 ft watch out this gun has them pinned. Note: You need to make sure you get Magpul base plate mags or it will not close up.

Just got back from 19D OSUT at Ft. Knox. Had been gone 17 week...more>> s, had been missing airsoft a lot and had a nice hunk of Army pay collecting dust in my bank account, so I went to a local store with the intent of splurging on some new pistol I wouldn't need and found this sitting in the case. Despite the price tag...it fit the bill for something nifty and immediately bought it.

first game, I got it into action with the fancy "flip" and killed a guy, but was surprised when it fired semi only. The guy who sold it to me mentioned full automatic capability. I quickly checked the manual at the end of the game and was relieved to discover the fire selector.

small problem with this gun. If you choose to change the fire selector and simply flip open the upper receiver to access the switch, the first shot will cycle the internal G18's slide once and knock the selector switch to the neutral install/uninstall setting, disabling the trigger and convincing you the weapon is broken. Be sure you drop the stock down and lock the G18 slide to the rear and change the setting back there before returning the slide to the forward position and re-locking the stock.

I removed the handle and put the Magpul flip up sights that I bought at the PX at Knox on there and they not only match the gun perfectly but actually WORK with the trajectory.

overall:

its loud (the sound echoes inside the hollow upper body and makes a rough cough)

next to the KWA TMP it doesnt shoot as fast so the 50 round mag lasts

rather accurate

damn sexy

a nifty collectors item and a really nice compact, lightweight sidearm for a sniper or infantry-wanna-be.

mine chronoed at 323 average fps with Javelin .20g bbs.

the only bad sides i can really find are the nasty tendency of this gun to discharge a bb from the top of the magazine when folding/unfolding the grip assembly, leaky standard magazine and an obnoxious orange tip that flakes off and gets inside the weapon gumming it up and threatening to break it fast...so take care.

Im glad I bought mine. be sure to be smart and read the manual through and through and enjoy.
