This VN-style M16 is a great replica of the ones used by the US military in Vietnam. The body is constructed completely out of metal, giving it a very realistic weight, and it comes with a full stock that will accept most large battery packs. It also features AGM's new Gen. 3 full metal gearbox, meaning that it not only looks great, but it performs just as well. AGM AEGs are fully upgradeable and compatible with most after market external and internal parts. This airsoft gun does not include a VN-style magazine, but rather a more modern-style 300 round high capacity magazine, and is also compatible with other major brands of standard and high capacity after market magazines. This gun is a must buy for those looking for a good priced starter gun.

This is a great entry level weapon considering the only parts that are plastic are the handgaurd and the stock which is rubberized the packaging is also excellent.
long barrel (dependent on how big you are)
comes with battery
plastic hand guard
the stock is wobbly unless you have the battery in the stock then it is really solid

I bought this gun quite a while ago. (Almost a year?) and i can say that I am pretty impressed. While agm doesn't have the best reputation around, I think this gun holds its own. Out of the box it was shooting around 460 fps, but after awhile it cooled down and is now shooting a steady 430 with .20s, but the gun really shines when using .25s, which it shoots them around 400-410. It has a nice metal feel, and a nice charging handle that when pulled back displays the easy to use hop up. When using a 9.6, the gun doesn't have the faster rate of fire, but it makes up for it in range and accuracy, which makes it a decent weapon the on the field. The only problem I have with the gun is that the battery dissconected once (really easy fix) and the select fire now works at a sub par level. The select fire is really loose and I have to actually put the select fire on "safe" to go full auto and "full auto" to go to saftey.
-nice feel and look
-nice range and accuracy for field use
-very comfortable and surprisingly maneuverable for an m16a1
-big stock and fit almost any type of battery
-hard to open the gun to do internal upgrades
-rate of fire is on the low end
-cannot take off front iron sight

I ordered this particular M16 about a year or two ago because I love the look of Vietnam M16s, it arrived and the box looked alright black on the outside, black on the inside. Inside, all the parts are orderly and packed well.
So onto the actual gun. As a tech and Vietnam amateur historian, this gun looks great. Of course, it comes with the carrying handle and still looks good. So here I'll go over all the pros/cons as a tech.
Full metal except stock and hand guard
Internals look good
Can use D-Boys Upper Receivers
Can use D-Boys Magazines
Can take large or mini type batteries
Battery connector is a SMALL type
Not the best M16-A1 on the market, other companies are starting to produce M16-A1s at higher quality!
Has a few M16-A2 parts
Does not come with M16-A1 vietnam style magazine.
