The Echo 1 TROY MRF-C Airsoft Gun is an awe inspiring new addition to Echo 1's line-up of great performing airsoft gun options. The body of the gun is constructed of their high impact ABS plastic, which cuts down significantly on both the overall cost and overall weight of the gun, and it boasts fully licensed Troy Industries trademarks paired on the left side with the widely recognized Trojan Horse Logo. The RIS unit is a 7" free float design that mates perfectly with the upper receiver to create a continuous top rail and an overall smooth, flush look. This top rail comes equipped with flip-up front and rear Troy Industries Battle Sights, and provides more than enough rail space for the addition of optics, PEQ boxes, lasers, or other accessories. The shortened barrel design makes this airsoft gun perfect for CQB operations, and the six position adjustable crane stock allows the overall length of the gun to be adjusted to fit just about any player. Overall, the Echo 1 TROY MRF-C Airsoft Gun is both aesthetically pleasing, and great performing, so it will definitely make a great addition to any player's arsenal.

For: Echo 1 TROY MRF-C AEG Airsoft Gun
i decided to get this aeg because echo1 isn't that bad but i was mistaken i don't know if i got the lemon or what but after 1 month it stopped shooting and motor broke so i put in a new motor and i am putting in a new set of echo 1 wires for it because it definatley had a wire problem because it was getting no electricity through the wires and when my friend opened it up the piston was shredded but that may have been my fault though but i like how its lightweight so its good for cqb and it does not have that bad of range but i thought it could do better so i installed a angel custom 300mm 6.01 and still waiting to try it out.
lightweight high rate of fire (chronoed at 16 rps at 375 fps stock) comes with battery decent rails good iron sights.
broke so fast shredded piston reciver makes weird sounds when you move it around and barley press on it abs is kind of weak no metal flash hider my threads got screwed up when in took the flash hider off but its a minor problem because i installed a suppressor and it has no problems with the threads so like i said minor problem (i recommend to replace stock wires so what happend to me wont happen to you.

For: Echo 1 TROY MRF-C AEG Airsoft Gun
This was my first airsoft AEG and for $200, it's definitely a good starting weapon. First of all, the combination of metal and plastic keeps everything light (about 5 pounds), while making it still functional and sturdy, albeit the plastic body is a bit cheap-feeling. The gearbox is very powerful on a 9.6 nunchuck and shoots where you point it (always a plus ;). There's even a bit of kick! The crane stock leaves a bit to be desired, but it can be upgraded if need be. Mine has a few gnarled edges and it is quite hard to open when accessing the battery compartment. If you plan to buy this gun as a start-up package, be aware that the charger IS a basic wall charger and the battery is an 8.4 NiCad. This means the battery must be discharged after use which requires another type of charger.
Overall, the Troy MRF-C is very sturdy, accurate, and ergonomic. There are a few tiny things that could be ironed out that would make it great however.
Good weight balance between metal and plastic
Metal 7 in RIS
Metal buffer tube
Metal magazine and misc parts
Plastic feels a bit cheap (ABS not Poly)
Poorly molded crane stock
Magazine wobbles (doesn't affect feeding) (minor)
Battle sights use plastic AND metal (odd combination that i don't particularly like)

For: Echo 1 TROY MRF-C AEG Airsoft Gun
This gun is great! It fires hard and is pretty accurate. The top rail is continuous and all the rails are metal plus they don't wobble. The foregrip it comes with feels really nice. The plastic on the outside made of cheap plastic but the internals are as far as I know. I play a play a lot of close quarters and this gun is great! Its easy to move around and its a good size for quickly switching between side arm and your main gun. One of the problems I found with this gun is when I try to open it up for cleaning, maybe it's just me but it's hard to take a part. Most magazines fit this gun and I've only had very few miss feeds but that was the magazines not the the gun does not come with a sling swivel. The crane stock does wobble but its not very bothersome. The plugs at the end of the stocks to prevent the battery from falling out does come out fall out easily and I almost lost it at a game. Overall the gun performs excellent and is unmatched by other M4 models. It has good FPS and GREAT accuracy and ROF. It is a good gun for beginners and intermediate players.
LOTS of room for customization
It comes with a foregrip!
The rails are metal
The flip up sights are nice
The orange tip is very hard to remove
The gun feels like it's made of cheap plastic
The crane stock
The paint scratches easily
It doesn't come with a sling mount
