Description:
The A&K Full Metal Magpul Masada Airsoft Gun is a unique and rare AEG, and A&K has made this new model even better! Airsoft GI is proud be one of the lucky retailers to sell this gun. The A&K Masada is officially licensed by Magpul and now boasts licenced Magpul Military Industries trademarks. The upper receiver is constructed of metal and the lower receiver of plastic. The stock extends and folds to the side. The fire selector, magazine release, and bolt release are ambidextrous. The charging handle can be moved to either the left or right side of the gun, and it automatically locks back when pulled. The hand guard is plastic and houses the battery. The barrel is very quickly changeable, with the turn of a lever it can be detached then securely reattached. A&K was gracious enough to provide an aggressive compensator to give the gun a menacing look. Also included is a 300 round high capacity Magpul P-mag, and even a battery and charger. This is an excellent gun for collectors and anyone else looking for an alternative to the MK16.

I'll start off by saying that this airsoft weapon platform is...more>> wonderful, external quality is great, although I could'nt quite gather the courage to disassemble the weapon. First impressions upon opening the box; exitement, entrigue, and then relief. The weapon was well packaged (thank you Airsoft GI), it was a little heavier than expected but hey, it builds character right? I'm not really sure what everyone was saying about the battery being so hard to put in, it only took me about thirty seconds. The polymer surface quality was fantastic, the metal components seemed strong, and the stock folded and retracted just as expected.

The folding mechanism on the stock was stiff to the push and it does not actually lock into possition, that being said it does stay held in place well. The iron sights where good but not great (I prefer m4/m16 sights) but thy do flip down for optional sights to be attatched to the weapon. The fire selector switch was looser than i'm use to but it stays in place if you don't mess with it. The barrel is quick detatch, very handy in case you buy a new one. As for the mag well, the mag wobbles as usual on most aeg's however the Magpul PMAG included was very nice, but it will need to be broken in. Also Magpul trademarks and holographic emblem on the weapon, big plus for customers who are into realism.

Overall this is a great starter weapon or something for more experianced warfighters to build and upgrade upon. I will say if you can spring for the actual Magpul brand Masada, it will start off a better weapon overall rather than needing improvments like this model but this one is a cheaper alternative that still has all the same great features just not the same internals.

Any who, I personally recomend this aeg to startes and pros alike. My thanks to A.S. GI, fantastic service, great packaging, and fast shipping. Airsoft gi, where the pro's shop!

A little over priced (my opinion)

Included battery is for test perpouses only

Charger is hazerdous

Rear sight can flip up on its own

Fire selector switch is kinda loose

Lame stickers on the side of the gun are a pain to get off, not the Magpul brand ones just the warning ones.
