TSD and SRC are working together to bring their latest series of AEG to the market with high end options for a mid range price. The TSD M4 Commando has all the features one can expect of a high end airsoft gun. It features sturdy construction, with a full metal body, barrel assembly, and buffer tube. In addition the internals of the TSD M4 Commando has been reinforced with a metal hop-up chamber, steel gears, and steel bushings. For more power and performance TSD has also included a M110 spring, a ported piston head, and a ultra-torque up motor. It has an retractable stock to allow you to adjust the length for the comfort of the user. To make the package complete the TSD M4 Commando comes with two metal 300 round high capacity magazines made by SRC. TSD airsoft guns are compatible with Tokyo Marui after market parts and magazines. For only $229 the TSD is practically a steal. Upgrading a JG with half the features of a TSD would cost twice as much.

This is a good weapon for new players or battles in close-quarters environments. The rear sight is easily adjusted. Slings can be easily mounted on the two sling-mounts.
However, everything is loose in the rifle, including the hop-up, so when you adjust the hop-up it just goes back to normal after you shoot a few bursts. It is not all that easy to remove the flash hider, requiring a tiny allen wrench. The foregrip can be a bit tricky to get on, but there is enough room in there for a nun-chuck battery.

I have had this rifle for almost a year. It is an excellent made weapon that I would recommned to anyone, to an extent. I will talk about the internals first. The gun is supposedly capable of 330 fps, I got it chronoed at exactly 300 fps. The motor is high powered and cpable of both 8.4 and 9.6 volts. Noew for the externals: The stock, hanguard, and grip is made of fiberlplastic and is much higher quality than that of echo 1. The body is solid metal and high quality. The first sign of external problems I got was when I got a CASV RIS. The barrel is crooked due to the threads (where the delta ring scews on) on the metal body. I have had several guns all of which I have disassembled, but I can't take the body apart. I believe there is a way to open the gun, I just haven't discovered it. Don't let this review discourage you from buying this beautiful gun. I believe I bought a lemon I do not beleive all of SRC's products have this many problems.

Great little gun!!!!
This gun was the first gun i ever got about two or three years ago when i got onto airsoft.
Nice fps about 320 with 2gs. This is a great cqb or even a beginer woodland gun.
When I got it i was kind of small so it fit me perfectly. Worked great for two years until last fall I put new internals in it to make it compete with g&ps and stuff. Now I have a Kwa m4a1 And use this as a cqb gun or let friends use it. great gun and a great buy GET THIS GUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
