Tech's Opinion:
"The Apex Guns have pretty much the exact same internals as CA LWRC guns. The 9mm Bearings are simply 8mm's with a larger outer race. The inner barrel looks to be of good quality (steel). The piston head, cylinder head, & cylinder are of the bore-up style. Compression is good from these parts. The hopup is the metal version of the new gen VFC. This gun also has the same design blowback mechbox as Classic Army & APS. There are some minor flaws with the design choices, such as the air nozzle compression and the mechbox durability, but for the price range its a decent choice."

When I got this gun the mag was out of its spot, the cleaning rod was broke, but then i noticed there was a slit in the stock toward the very back which made me mad because it was not treated very well. However the gun was perfectly fine and i put battery in it and fired great. But after i fired it a little bit I put it away for the day. When i shot it the next day to show my brother it started to shoot two round burst on semi mode and then went to 3 and now it'll shoot either semi, full auto or bursts while the fire selector is on semi. I would ask for a fix or new gun but it don't bother me that much. Nevertheless it is still a great gun and I recommend it. However it goes out of stock really fast so if you catch it in stock do not hesitate
Pros:
The gun shoots very accurate up to 45-50 yards with Elite force .25g bbs then accuracy will slowly get worse after that
Almost all metal except for the stock and grip but plastic is extremely tough
ambidextrous mag release
Metal flip up sight that will stay even if it bumps something but I recommend a red dot sight because the peep hole is really small
Comes with 2 rail covers and foregrip
Rails are all metal
Hop up is easy to adjust but the hop up for mine is really loose and can move easily and does not click like some YouTube videos say they do but hey at least its easy to readjust
Cons:
Im sure the only cons i have are due to mishandling while being shipped but also im pretty sure the cut off lever is not functioning like it is suppose to which is why my gun shoots full auto on semi but im sure thats just my guns problem and im not taking apart gun just to see if it is true. The price also seems like it should be lowered to about 220 or less because the gun does not seem like it should cost $260
But being mostly all metal it is kinda heavy for weaklings or little kids but it's less than half the weight of my brothers ar15 so its pretty light to me
You probably don't want to be a younger kid running around with this because the gun can get heavy but kids these days need the exercise and to grow some muscle these days. Almost every kid seems like they're a twig so parents if you want your kid to get a workout this will be good for them or if nothing else just make them throw hay for a farmer during the summer like i do on my dads farm.
