S. GARB verified buyer
so i bought this gun a while ago, so ive had time to test it. mine came and shot really low out of the box. it fixed itself by me just taking the hop up off and put it back on. externals are amazing! internals are so so. cheap piston, and cylinder head. cylinder and piston head are good. wiring is great! the gears go either way... there good quality, but i personally dont like self shimming gears. but after i fixed the hop up.... it shot just like my friends 416! is it worth 420? i dont think so. maybe 400. but ot is great and i recommend it!
The Pros are as followed:
-the ris is amazing with full trades and full metal
-shoots just like the 416!
The cons are as followed:
-front sight is awkward
-ris only fits screw on objects, not slide on
-piston is a cheap clear plastic
-self shimming gears(my opinion)

I have owned this AEG for three years now, and I have never had any reliability issues with it whatsoever. All metal parts are of a very high quality standard, they are all very solid, very durable, and very nicely made. The AEG chrono'd at around 350FPS, but there was another spring included that runs at just under 400FPS with .20g BB's. Besides replacing the spring, I have not replaced anything else internally. Still, the AEG runs smoothly and reliably with a 11.1v LiPo battery. The pistol grip that houses the motor is very slim, much like that of a real AR. The external finish of the gun is a matte black that is very nice and abrasion/scratch resistant. The flip-up sights solidly lock into place, and the fire-selector switch also locks into place well with an audible clicking sound. Unfortunately, the fire-selector on the right side does wobble somewhat, though I have never found this to be too much of an annoyance. The faux bolt locks back and releases with both bolt-catches, and both of the magazine releases work well. Though this AEG does have quite a price tag, it feels as if it was well worth the money I spent on it. Thankfully, I was able to get about 116 dollars off when I bought it during a Black Friday Sale at Airsoft GI.
-It is able to run with a 11.1v LiPo battery for an extended period of time.
-Extremely nice external parts, both the metal and the plastic parts.
-Innovative and very usable rail system(thanks to Knights Armament for the overall design of the complete weapon system).
-The orange tip comes on the AEG but it also comes with a KAC style Triple Tap Break(-14mm).
-Two springs are included for the gearbox.
-Great warranty from Airsoft GI, and also from VFC.
-Extremely smooth cycling of the gears and the piston.
-Good air-seal and Hop-Up unit.
-The orange tip was difficult to remove since it was glued onto the barrel, but a blowdryer helps a lot.
-Wobble of the fire-selector switch on the right side of the AEG.
-The dust covers locking piece fell off, but it does not bother me much at all.

VFC SR16 CQB liscensed by Knight's Armament
Chronoed ~379 Fps- once the spring wares in.
I would give this gun a SOLID 8/10
All VFC build quality are built to last, it may not seam like it in the Cons section of this review but they are one of the best guns you can buy. Self shimming gears which i get about 20rps on 11.1v 1200mha battery. I have the realistic trades with their own unique cereal number, laser engraving which it just looks amazing!
Some people do not care for trades but not only is the weapon more realistic, but you have huge bragging rights over everyone!
Ambidextrous controls which makes it comfortable whether you are a right or left handed shooter and makes switching hands to take different corners easy.
Little to no wobble whatsoever and wobble there is isn't noticeable unless you are messing with it
Preupgraded gearbox with solid parts
It's a VFC so externals are great as well as the internals.
-This gun is SOLID. the only wobble is in the crane stock but not enough to even realize (note you may need to tighten the screw in the buffer tube, after your 4 game with the gun.)
-Build quality - internally and externally
-Q.D. all over the gun
-perfect tightness on the tabs on butt stock (you will know once you get it, If you have owned a G&G you would know it is the hardest thing to get off.)
-iron sight are nice (i really like the front that fold into the rail system)
-piston head is really nice
-it comes with a second, really nice flash hider
-good heavy inner barrel
-nice length for milsim events
-REALLY REALLY QUIET
below is not as bad as what it seems.
-replace everything in the gearbox except for, gears, cylinder, piston head, and your choice if the spring stays.
everything else use as spare parts
-Some people say that VFC pistons are amazing and other say they are not, well mine completely striped and that is because it has plastic teeth. But it is a high speed piston.
-replace the high speed motor, but the pinion gear seem good.
-wiring should be fine but if heats up with 25 shots get a new one
-ambidextrous is a pain but once you figure it out it is fine.
-i dont like the bump in the middle of the pistol grip but a dremel fixes that really nicely
