It is modeled after the MK5K that has become famous with bodyguards and other security professionals because of its compact size and great firepower. The Galaxy comes with a retractable stock that can be replaced by a standard MK5K end cap w/ sling swivel for a more concealed apperance. It also includes a low profile mount that can accept different optics systems such as a red dot for CQB. It's small size makes it an excellent CQB or secondary outdoor weapon. I have quite the mixed feelings with this AEG. I have been playing 5+ years and this is one of many guns i now own. This is the epitome of cheap china clone. Feels awful, shoots decently. With the exception of the front sight, trigger, cocking handle, threaded barrel under the orange tip, and a few miscellaneous items, every part of the body is CHEAP plastic. The hop up is set down about halfway when packaged, so there is a permanent indent in the bucking. Overhops rediculously. Get a new one. Very limited battery compartment. Took a little body work to fit a 9.6 stick battery. Selector switch does not have a firm click. Battery is absolutely a pain to insert and connect. involves unscrewing the RIS clamped around the body. However, the gun isnt all bad. Nice ROF with a 9.6 battery in it. Good accuracy once the hop up is replaced, full RIS is good to have, very compact, FPS perfect for CQB, Stock is adjustable, gearbox is surprisingly ok, the "HK slap" wont break your cocking lever right away. I would recommend saving for another gun.

S. REX verified buyer
this is my first AEG and i know little of what to expect
first off 3 screws were missing in the RIS and one was stripped so it made it impossibly hard to get the battery in
and the battery is so hard to get in, you have to take off the stock, unscrew 12 screws (well 9 for me because i was missing some) with an allen wrench, hold back the charging handle and push out the battery with like a pencil or something.
i had to also cut of the charging handle to fit in an extra battery(the original was specially made so it was so really hard getting a normal one in there.)
another problem i had was the hi cap magazine it came with, its really unreliable and jams up a lot
there are a lot of good things to though, overall its great for a beginner i highly recommend it, for a
pro or someone who plays a lot i suggest saving for a nicer oner
great rate of fire
RIS(awesome bonus for a mk5)
ambidextrous selector switch
tough abs plastic
has only jammed once(keep that unjamming rod with u, u may need it)
super cheap extra mags, only $8 on airsoftgi
flashhider comes off real easy in case you want a silencer
built for tricking out with accesories
cheap plastic RIS
freakin impossible to get the battery in and out
only one sling loop
mag hi cap
little room for another battery
junky charger but heck all AEGs come with one
kinda heavier than you would expect
