The NC Star Red/Green/Blue Dot Tri-Rail Sight is a great optic that combines the advantage of a modestly sized, durable tube optic with the convenience of having picatinny platforms, and the improved target acquisition speed of an illuminated red/green/blue reticle. It features multiple different brightness settings ensuring that it fits for just about any situation. This sight has an integrated riser, making it much more easily visible for players using full facemasks. The adjustable height and windage turrets allow the user to ensure that their shots are dead-on.

I love this sight! i think its well worth the money if you are new and want a cheaper reliable sight this is it
Pros:
Tall so you can aim down it without a problem with a mask on
dot is very bright
rails on sight for mounting things if you wish
Cons:
none so far just remember the distance between the sight and your barrel you don't want to be shooting the wall right in front of you when you mean to shoot a player.

Sits higher on gun which is good because I have a fixed forward m4 iron sight
3 colors(red, blue, green) and 3 levels of brightness for each
Sturdy aircraft aluminum
Comes with battery in it and an extra one!
Cons:
Not a single con for this multi color dot sight!

Pros:
Looks great
Adds more rail space

Cons:

What is an optic sight?
Is an optic sight the same as an holographic sight?
Will an optic sight adapt to which angle i am looking at the sight? Will the dot not move from the target regardless of my movement?

The way a red dot works is it points a light to the lens and it does not project from the lens but its reflects back to your eye, if you move, you will see the reticle or dot move, holographic sights are different in the real steel world, but in airsoft it is the same thing as a reflex, its just a replica to look like a holo sight.

Would obtaining a lens protector for this sight be a good idea?
The last thing that I would like to happen with this sight is to get it and have it be shot by someone shooting at 400 fps. If it does get hit, could it sustain?

GET A LENS PROTECTOR! You do NOT want 50 dollars to be flushed down the toilet. It most likely will not sustain. Spend fifteen dollars and get a protector. you could even make one yourself.
