Red Fire Mosin Nagant Model 1891/30 Bolt Action Spring Sniper with PU Scope Airsoft Rifle (Wood)
[O07B00][15276 / PPSSP0002]New to airsoft? Here are some safety tips for airsoft guns that we recommend following.
The Mosin-Nagant, developed by the Imperial Russian Army between 1882-1891, was most commonly used by the Armed Forces of the Russian Empire, Soviet Union, and other Nations. The Mosin-Nagant was a bolt action, internal magazine-fed military rifle. Designed similar to the real gun counterpart, the Red Fire Mosin-Nagant is an extraordinary replica for collectors and airsoft players alike. The externals of the gun feature a well finished wood stock, steel bolt, and unique serial number to replicate the real gun counterpart. The Mosin-Nagant also features an internal gas system as well as a unique internal magazine function. Lastly, there are two sling mounting points in the front and rear of the rifle as well as a rubber bayonet to finish off the gun's appearance. Overall, this airsoft gun is a very unique yet functional airsoft gun that is a must for collectors and airsoft players alike.

I had to send mine back in when I first was able to fire mine. The internal mag did not want to accept any rounds and there was a piece missing according to ASGI. I went to fire when I received it again and it shoots hard to the right. Enough that the scope cannot be adjusted to compensate. I plan on upgrading the barrel, but I do not know what barrel it will accept. Anyhow, it jammed on me again, the magazine I mean. The follower that pushes the rounds into the breach jammed. The whole "magazine" is nothing more that a poor string and a spring. When I received the rifle back from ASGI, the string does not want to stay in the track that it's supposed to sit. Because of this, the plate that closes over the magazine will randomly open because of the string. If you close it and the string gets caught, the rifle won't load because the string will not allow the spring to continue its path. In my opinion, the magazine was designed by an idiot.
I plan to upgrade the barrel and hope that the accuracy gets better.
Overall, I'll give it a three.
Pros:
-Looks nice, real wood and steel in places where it counts
-The scope is a nice touch.
-Realistic markings are nice
Cons:
-Magazine was designed by an idiot, once again my opinion
-Mine shoots too far to the right, enough where I can't compensate with scope zeroing
-Pain to take apart
-The orange tip is too large to put on bayonet which renders it useless
-Cleaning rod that is attached to rifle is useless and just for show
-Not a big thing, the box they give you is really nice, but when you attache the scope you can't put it in the box unless you detach scope. Not a big then, but to detach the scope you need a Flathead screwdriver
-I don't know the Nagant that well, there's no obvious safety
Alright plain and simple airsoft GI dropped the ball by stocking this gun. It weighs about 1/3 the real weight of a mosin. The wood is horrible, this is my second gun and it does not function properly. I wasted over $200 with ASGI and have nothing to show for it but a broken gun.
Pros:
It looks like a 91/30 sniper.
Shoots a whopping 220 FPS with .25's so it would be legal for CQB or a Japanese field.
Cons:
2nd gun (asgi did not inspect the first gun it came missing cosmetic pieces)
Wood is extremely poor quality.
Scope wiggles even when properly tightened.
Mag will hold 15 rounds. However you need to wind the wheel every 2-3 rounds.
Plastic bayonet is made of extremely brittle plastic.
Looks like they used hot glue to hold on the brass flashing pieces.
First gun arrived broken and missing pieces second gun broke after 30 shots and brass flashing pieces have fallen off.
THIS IS NOT A WALL HANGER THIS IS A PIECE OF GARBAGE
Scope does not adjust to where the bb's would hit before the gun died.
