(Discontinued) Classic Army Full Metal B&T MK5-K AEG Airsoft SMG
[D001804220 / MP013M]New to airsoft? Here are some safety tips for airsoft guns that we recommend following.
This excellent full metal airsoft electric gun is manufactured by the popular electric gun maker Classic Army. It is an exact replica of the famous MK5 sub-machine gun that most special operation units use. It comes with a full metal upper receiver and a lower with the SEF version trigger group. And, unlike many other MK5s the Classic Army features a functional charging lever that pushes the stick battery out when it's time to change it. The MK5K also has a rear sling swivel for a one point sling. If all these features were not enough Classic Army has included a 200 round high capacity. What has held true in combat holds true for airsoft; the MP5 is great for CQB.

this gun is a very good side arm and i even think it could be a primary in CQB. overall this gun is a great buy.
Pros:
good ROF
compact
light enough to aim with one hand
comfortable grip
and LOUD (some may not like this)
Cons:
this gun sometimes mis-feeds with my S Arms MP5 150rds Mid Capacity Magazine. it might be the magazine, because the high cap that comes with the gun doesnt at all.
ok so i bought this gun in january 09. it was my first actual good quality gun. (not from big 5) i have to say i am very impressed with this gun. the rof isnt bad at all. its your best choice if you're going to be playing CQB alot, or even if you aren't, makes a good secondary for a sniper. i highly advise you do not attempt to modify the bodywork or add silencers or even get a foldable stock. you could theoretically up the rof or fps but i dont think you'll need to. overall wonderful gun.
Pros:
small
good rate of fire
good fps (i dont think you need a sniper rifle's fps on a 3 inch barreled smg)
realistic body-frame
good quality plastic grip/trigger guard
lightweight [wonderful if you plan on using two and duel-weilding( ive done that before and it works)]
Cons:
hard to get battery out but you get used to it
my magazine broke (i dropped it down stairs which is the only problem) not bad magazine though
pricy (i suggest if u want a nice gun but less quality go echo 1 mp5kpdw)
thats the only flaws!
P.S. im pointing out every flaw i see but the ones i do are only veeerrry minor. WONDERFUL GUN
After a year of experience with this replica, I've decide to write a review about it. I'll start of saying if you go to a CQB area that doesn't allow blind firing (Which is most places) I'd stick with the PDW w/ attached stock. The reason being, it's much more secure, holding a steady aim, when pieing the corners. The removal of the stocks, almost sole purpose, is to allow easier blind firing along with easier slinging of the weapon (suppose allows you to akimbo as well :P). But enough with the tactics, on to the gun: The replica fires average 312fps out of the box at 18rps. The lower receiver is composite FRP with the upper receiver being a type of metal (unsure). It's not one that I would attach a silencer too, its a bit loud, just go with it and it disassembles easy enough for a sub-mg. I would, however, go with a high rps ratio gear set and a tight bore barrel when buying one.
Pros:
Decent CQB replica out of the box.
Ability to attach a low profile rail on top.
Mobility of this replica is unsurpassed for sub-mg. (m93f's are nice too :)
Loud (there is a physiological aspect to that. If nothing else, annoying the other team)
Easy to sling (switch to secondary)
I've noticed a faster reload time compared to m16/ak/ or G~ type replicas.
All in all, after upgrading, best CQB primary I've played with.
Cons:
Not recommended for MOUT scenarios out of the box, the accuracy is atrocious until you equip a tight bore, and even then it's nothing what a mk16(short),m4, or ak74su could do. (it's basicly an automatic pistol with a large magazine).
Stock sling ring snapped off for first use.. but nothing a vicegrip wouldn't fix.
Price over quality. I think if they marked it down to 170-180, it'd be a fair price. 230 is reeaallyy pushing it. But oh well, bottom line, great gun and can't go wrong with it.
