I have a tm mp5 sd5 not the sd6 but tokyo marui mp5s are very nice. My mp5 chronoed in at 330 fps with all stock internals and the hop up is very nice, with the hopup adjusted, you can hit a quarter from a 100 ft away, so you can hit a man sized target from up to 150 ft. The rate of fire is fast too , since the tokyo marui mp5s come with the eg700 motor. With a 8.4 large battery in the stock in can do 900 rpm and with a 9.6 small, it can do close to 1000 rpm. I am very happy with this gun and i believe its one of the best mp5s on the market and its worth every penny.
Pros:
- mine chronoed at 330 fps
-nice rpm
-its a tokyo marui
-no rattles or loose parts
Cons:
-doesn't come with a battery
-all abs plastic construction
-comes with a mid cap mag
-mock charging handle is flimsy and broke
Hi Everyone,
Like the other guy, I have the SD5. First off, I got this gun second hand of eBay for $76! Trust me, eBay is the place to shop. Back on topic. I read great reviews about it and I was just watching the tracking number. It finally arrived and I opened the box. It looked awesome! I picked it up and it was heaver than I had thought (But still, nothing like my King Arms M4A1). I plugged a 9.6 in it and it worked like a dream. Even doing 3-4 round burst, it burnt through my 50 round mag like it was nothing. So, I should be getting a few mags soon. I let My dad (a former U.S. Marine), shoot it the next day and he was even impressed by the accuracy of it. Also, the silencer kinda does work, it makes it sound like a relatively quiet thud when you fire it. Over all, this is a wonderful all around weapon for a collector, spotter, clearing rooms or CQB or even some field missions. I still have yet to test it in a skirmish, but I will not doubt it's performance. I am very happy to have it in my collection.
Thanks for reading,
J
Pros:
Incredibly Accurate
Good Range
Low Power for CQB (could be a con)
Great Iron Sights
OK Weight
Very Fast ROF
Cool Silencer
Looks Awesome
Cons:
I don't mind, but like all TMs, the externals are 90% plastic.
A little bit of a mag wobble
Kinda creaky when you pick it up.
Some don't like low FPS of 300
(But still, I am just nitpicking)
