This vest is good. The material feels strong, and the mag pouches [most of them] have elastic straps to keep single mags snug in place. Some things I found annoying were that some of the pouches are small...the pistol mags on the left chest barely fit my sidearm mags and the holster doesn't even come close to fitting [note, i use a Desert Eagle]
FOR ALL DESERT EAGLE OWNERS:
This vest will not accommodate d-eagles or their magazines. I snipped some threads in mine, and it works okay, the only thing is that the retaining strap to keep the gun in the holster doesn't fit, so it feels kinda precarious. but my sidearm hasn't fallen out yet, so I'm optimistic.
if you don't have a d-eagle, chances are this vest will work great for you. everything tightens down real nice, feels good and snug. I'd give it a 4.5 if i could, just taking off for the lack of pistol versatility
Pros:
Good material - keeps you cool
holds up well
fully adjustable
NICE ACU look
cheap
attachment of holster isn't MOLLE, just velcro - pro for some, con for me
Cons:
will not fit large pistols or pistol mags
forget about adjusting fit during play - requires almost full disassembly
attachment of holster isn't MOLLE, just velcro - pro for some, con for me
Ok i bought this vest idn 2 yrs ago when ACU's just came out. I have to say its still holding up pretty well.
i love the way it looks and feels plus some places are molle so u can put some more stuff on it not alot but some. ( mainly near the mags pouches and the lower left side and ur back )
it comes with 3 primary mag pouches ( the 4th on on the pic doesnt come with it !!! ) 6 pistol mag pouches and a combat belt that u can adjust.
plus u can take of the crossdraw pistol holster. Overall great vest for the price, like i mean nothing has broken off or anything. Just a slight tear where i ran and cut it on metal.
Pros:
-lots of pistol pouches
-fits real good
-everything will hold in place so mags wont fall out
Cons:
-the primary mag pouches only hold 1 mag ( not recommended for anything bigger than a m4/m16 mag )
but can fit two if u shove the EFF out of it
-while running strap may release pistol mag
-prim mag pouches can not move them like move them to the left side
other than that its great im still using it til today XD
Great Vest! I own a jg MP5 A4 and "the crank gun" (aka Glock, or CM.030) and this vest works awsome with them! it has 6 pouches that can hold pistol mags (3 of those can also fit a speed reloader) and 4 main mag pouches (can hold 2 mp5 or m4/m16 mags in each one) and can fit a veriety of mags in all its pouches. has one pouch that you can put whatever in, and one to hold your phone, or keys or something. room for a backpack or a hydration carrier on the back. **ONLY ONE PROBLEM: i put the CYMA CM030 M18 AEP Rail & Barrel Adaptor on my "Crank Gun" (aka Glock, or CM.030) and now it wount fit in my holster, so now i put it in one of the mag pouches, which actually fits quite nice, but its very annoying. if your smaller like me, this vest is very ajustable so you dont have to worry about this being too big.
Pros:
-Ajustible
-Many mag pouches
-Many pistol mag pouches
-Zippered secret compartments inside of vest (not very secret now)(holds a water bottle or somthing)
-phone carrier
-pouch that can hold anything you want
-room for a hydration carrier on the back or a backpack
**ANOTHER GREAT BUY FROM ASGI** (that should be thier slogan)
Cons:
-if you have "the crank gun" (aka Glock, or CM.030) with the CYMA CM030 M18 AEP Rail & Barrel Adaptor on it, it wound fit in the holster
