Systema Energy Type 1 AEG Cylinder
[X07D07][06121 / EN-CY-002]New to airsoft? Here are some safety tips for airsoft guns that we recommend following.
The Systema Energy line of internal AEG upgrade parts are the first ever complete line of lightweight, energy efficient, airsoft gun enhancements. The Energy line from Systema was designed to do two things, reduce player fatigue and reduce parasitic drag from the gearbox's moving components. According to Systema, "a quantifiable weight reduction in the weapon platform can be achieved," by completely changing all of your internal gearbox parts to Systema's Energy line. That is where this Energy Cylinder fits into their design; it helps lighten the overall gearbox weight to reduce player fatigue.

This is the top of the line and has some interesting features that only systema would think of. The inside of the cylinder is machined and is not smooth; very very small ridges line the inside to retain grease for better compression over time. This lets the grease reduce the friction instead of the cylinder itself. Also, the cylinder is ported six times. this not only reduces weight but lets the air escape evenly so the pressure inside it is perfectly even when it pushes the BB out of the barrel. The ports are machined from the inside out to ensure that the o-ring is not worn down from flares on the ports. So if you pair this with a ported piston head, a thick o-ring, and high quality cylinder grease (madbull cylinder grease) you will have AMAZING compression. Also put plumber's tape around the cylinder head o-rings to prevent air loss. This is the most advanced cylinder on the market.
Pros:
It is full of little additions that systema made to yield top-of-the-line performance
uses the same designs as the PTW
holds grease in place unlike teflon cylinders
the ports all around the cylinder may give some kind of range or accuracy boost due to the more even pressure inside the cylinder
Cons:
almost double the price of normal cylinders. but for those who crave the best performance possible, this is worth it.
the ridges inside the cilinder may cause more resistance than teflon cylinders
