Systema Area 1000 Type 0 AEG Cylinder (Gray)
[Q00C05][00147 / A09]New to airsoft? Here are some safety tips for airsoft guns that we recommend following.
Description:
Area 1000 is a division of the well known and respected Systema. Area 1000 parts are just as durable and perform just as well as their high end counterpart, but only cost a fraction of the price. This cylinder high polished to create a smooth surface for uninterrupted airflow. This cylinder is not ported and designed for the M16 and G3 length barrels. The absence of the port allows the piston to compress all of the air so the BB can accelerate all the way out of the barrel.

Got this in my Echo 1 M16 DMR version and I love it. I have the A1000 Cylinder head to go with it and with a new O-ring on the E1 Piston and head its awesome. Roughly 390 consistently on an M120 spring. Only use this with a long barrel gun though.
Pros:
12 bucks
Systema
Aluminum
Cons:
None
systema area 1000 type 0 cyllinder
I bought this for my JG m16a4, which had a type 2 cyllinder for some reason
it's very good quality, and be light on the grease, it's teflon coated and you only need the slightest grease for it to slide very effeciently
I am using a JG m130 black spring and this gun chronographs at 440 fps w/ .20, and 385 fps w/ .25
Pros:
-teflon coated
-stainless steel
-type 0 for 400-550mm barrels
-the quality you really didn't expect from systema upgrade parts (some of their aeg upgrade parts leave a bit to be desired)
-at $12, it's not only the best, but also the cheapest
-made in Japan, get Japanese QC for chinese price
Cons:
-none
well now... I have actually lost fps by installing this vs. my systema are 1000 type 1 cyllinder
I have come the conclusion that if you have have decent compression, a type 1 is the best option for a m16.
It's still a very good cyllinder, the teflon coating means that you can grease it a little less and cut down on piston head drag.
Pros:
-very nice cyllinder
-price
-teflon coated
Cons:
-not for a m16 if you have good compression and use less than a .36g bb, .25 are not heavy enough and the type 1 gives greater velocity
